I just bought a plug-n-play harness for the Motorola IHF-1000 bluetooth car kit. I'm hoping to install it in my 2005 TSX w/NAVI.

Question: Where do I plug in the harness? Does it have to go to the back of the factory radio, or can it be connected to the factory amp (which is more easily accessible)? Do I need to pull the factory radio, or can I install via the storage compartment the same way I installed the USA Spec ipod link? Do I need to disconect the battery?

I'm a novice at this, but would like to avoid having a pro install the kit. Any help would be appreciated.

I may be mistaken, but I don't believe you can use a cell mute harness w/ the TSX because it's got a subwoofer and amplifier. There's nowhere to plug it in...

Your only solution would be to create a pin to go into the harness that plugs into the back of your stereo --- It's in a thread somewhere, but I think it's #11. Hopefully, you can return the harness and get a refund.
