Figured that i'll post here as well.. since some people are not registered in another forum.

I m sure everyone here know the exterior differences between 2004-2005 and 2006-2008.

But somehow this company Rvinyl.com does not know anything about our car.
I purchased the kit off them, but they mailed me the kit that fits the 2004-2005's. ( Yes, I have stated clearly that my car is a 2006 ACURA TSX with FACTORY LIP KIT. )

At first i didn't know, i went ahead and put on the part for mirror. And took off the part for the hood, THEN i realized that its a different one. So i can't return for full refund now..

Tried sending them mails to tell them its different. The first email that i sent, i told them to double check with ACURA either through phone calls or internet. But they didnt' bother to do that.

and here they are replying me:

Not sure if i will win if i dispute this.

So if any of you 2006+ owners want to get a clear bra kit from ebay... Think twice. 2004-2005's are fine..

If you dispute it you will need to be able to prove that you ordered it for the correct model year, and that the kit provided isn't for that model year. Even then you'll only get back a prorated value based on what you used and what you didn't use and returned. Shipping is on you 100% unless you sue, but that would be way more expensive than the shipping.

Oh well..

I got the email from the seller. He told me to mail back everything to him, and he will refund me the original price.

I told him i used it already. Even some are in the garbage, but he still insist on sending it back to him IF i want the refund.

And i had to go down to my garage (i live in a townhouse, we dump garbage at the same place), SEARCH through all the garbage to find it. lol.. ==

there's absolutely no way he can use it again....

 

Yea, i got the email from paypal and stuff that states the extra message that i sent him..
i put it down so clearly..

He just wants to verify you don't have it anymore. Reason why he wants you to send it back. Just send it back.

 

yup! doing it today.

just suck that i have to pay for the shipping because of his own mistakes. (even though its a few bucks only)

 

At least he's basically giving you the money back. I wasn't even aware of a difference in the shape from the 04's to the 06's.

 

well.. i don't expect/think people who do not have a Tsx to know..

but a seller... should. i think.
