Has anyone else not seen one???

I was just curious.... I was talking to my sister today who said she saw a red TSX in VA that made my black one look like "trailer park trash" as she put it. She's also seen a couple other colors. It made me think about the fact that I have yet to see another TSX on the road. I have had my TSX for about 2 months now. I live in the Raleigh/Durham area of NC. Has anyone else NOT seen another TSX on the road?

1) White with custom rims and license plate: SHWEET
2) Black stock downtown
3) Silver stock in Beaverton area.

Thought I saw a black one, but it was moving too fast to confirm, so none for me.

Maybe it is our area ... because I have seen exactly ONE other TSX on the road (not counting the ones I saw at our Raleigh meet a few months back ).

The majority of my "in the wild" sightings have been in the Cary area (PWP, SS, CG, AB). There's a CG that lives relatively close by (besides mine ), and I know of an Arctic Blue out my way also (north Raleigh).

i think it REALLY depends on where you live. i've just started school in southern california so i drove down there. while around the area for the first day, i've already seen 3 TSXs. The whole 2 months i've had my car in nor cal, i only saw 3 in the area. So yeah, i think it has a lot to do with area.

Within a couple weeks before I got mine on 8/8:
- Silver on 101 (Asian-ish guy with spiky hair)
- Black at a gas station on Broadway in Burlingame (some chick, don't remember what she looked like, and 2 males)

All the time since 8/8:
- Silver on 101N (guy with dark, spiky hair; don't think it was the same as the first, but maybe)
- CG on 101S (guy with a baseball cap and girl in the front passenger seat)

I wasn't even aware of the TSX a couple weeks before I got mine (I never paid attention to cars at all till I got on the car selection hunt), so I dunno how many I'd seen but not noted before that.

I saw another SSM TSX on Friday going by Crabtree Vally Mall on Glenwood Ave. Must have been provench. That was the first one I have seen "on the road" in Raleigh. I like that. I thought long and hard about a B&W 330 coupe, but liked the price and handling , as well as the conservative style of the TSX.

Another SSM in Raleigh !!! Time to sell mine (cause that wasn't me)

I am sure over time we will start to see them. I still get looks like "what the heck is that car" all the time. Funny.

I haven't gotten one of those looks yet... but then again, I've only had mine since Friday night.

A blue one with tint lives in the apartment complex next to mine, a stock SSM lives in one of the girl's dorms, and I saw a red one in town a couple nights ago. So far, every TSX at Ole Miss has been chick driven.

I have seen many TSX's on the road, and at least half, if not 3/4 were driven by females. I dont think its a chick car, but I think is gender neutral...so its going to be a 50/50 split.

I finally saw one yesterday - first time I've seen a carbon gray in person. It wasn't moving though...I saw it parked in the parking lot at the 49er's game. Looked nice - maybe I'll see one actually driving on the road one of these days...

I saw one this Saturday in red. No offense to the red owners but the car didn't look that good. The nicest one I have seen thusfar is the one that parks in front of my building everyday...white with black tint, spoiler, and side aero package.

A lot of the female gender driving. I agree with the 3/4.

I have noticed this as well.

This AM I had an interesting experience - another black one pulled next to me at a light, and we ended up driving next to each other on-and-off for a couple of minutes. It was a woman in her 20s with glasses... anyone, anyone??

I saw another white one yesterday in Marlton.. it does look great in white.

I have to admit, sometimes another color looks better, but white just looks clean~ Especially when it's just washed and waxed, yummm...

PS: A female gender looking student at school drives a TSX. Not white though.

I can see that. The time I went to the dealer to buy my TSX, they had just one on the showroom floor, and it was the Milano Red -- and it looked fantastic. But the other day I saw one in the parking lot at the R/D and it looked horrible. Maybe it was a little bit dirty, maybe the look depends on the exact lighting, I don't know. But I was struck by how unimpressive it looked.

Hm, okay, of the genders I've noted in my sightings--

2 guys on the freeway
1 girl at a party
1 girl at a freeway

So 50/50 if you don't count me.

Just looked at my first post in this thread, and lemme tell you, I currently have no recollection of the first driver's appearance. I just remember seeing a silver TSX's ass as it passed me on 101S one morning, shortly before I test drove one.

Before I finally got mine, I saw about 5-6, might be the same ones since I was driving on the same road to and from work. Since after I got mine, I have seen them increase. I saw one this weekend and one yesterday. They're growing. Imagine if Acura decided to pump these babies out like the accord. You would see one every day.

Do you guys think they limit their production level of the car to keep demands high, so the streets won't be flooded with this car?

DjEuclid -- In case you didn't notice, your post got "triple-posted" -- Maybe you want to delete the extras (and I'll edit/delete this).

Not totally your fault. A lot of this has been happening especially since last night, and I'm pretty sure it's because, for some reason, when we try to "Submit" our reply, sometimes it's been taking mega-mega long -- so sometimes we think maybe something's wrong and we do it again, or we try to "Stop" it and re-do it, or whatever -- and it posts multiple times.

I think they will continue to try to sell as many as possible, BUT perhaps with the high demand they won't be afraid to up the price a bit as they add/refine features and tweak the car (e.g. add power passenger seat, increase MSRP $300 or so?).
