Got rear-ended at 5mph...
...and not a single scratch! I was actually quite surprised since the "bump" to my TSX came from a Pathfinder while I was stopped at the Holland Tunnel toll booth. The hit was slightly off center to the right about 6 inches and was hard enough to lurch the TSX forward a touch.
Anyway, the only mark that was left was the outline of the dude's license plate on the dirt on my bumper!
Just wanted to give a "good" report of the TSX bumpers taking a decent bump without damage. Would've grabbed a pic, but once it rained, the mark came right off.

i recommand you get a good look with a flash light or something, you'll probably see more then that. similar thing happen to me, at first glance, i thought it was just a small scratch on one spot, but the next day i got a good look, there were alot of smaller scratches everywhere.

That's a good thought. I did take a look, though... and there's no visible damage that I could find. I do have a nice coat of Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax on it which may have given some decent "scrape" protection.
Still... my bumper has a different scrape on it anyway. Some bastard must have hit my TSX in my parking lot and made a nasty scratch through the paint. So I guess my bumper's already kinda screwed anyway.
But still, I'm just happy that the bumper was able to survive unscathed in a low speed bump to the rear. I figured there'd be a few scuffs... but it looks like nothing happened.

I got rear-ended at around 5mph as well, and there was a huge fine line and marks of the bolts that holds the license plates.
I was pretty pissed, but was relieved at the same time because the impact felt like should've left a hole.

even thought it was a 5mph "bump" i'd still bring the car into the body shop and have them take a look at what the eye can't see. You may need a new Styrofoam insert or maybe a new absorber bar. u'd be suprised how much damage you can't see.

That's exactly what happened to me last Friday to which I started a thread about it being a black month of November.
I admit that the impact I received was from a crappy Daewoo Leganza, and not a Pathfinder. I on the other hand do have some visible and tangible damage, a gouge from one of the screws holding the Daewoo’s plate, and an impression from the plate’s edge. There is also a very feint crease in the paint where the bumper plastic was pushed into the bar underneath. It seems a little less resilient to push in this region though that could be my imagination, so I'm a little concerned that the inside of the bumper cover may have plastically deformed.
I have still yet to decide if I'll take it into a body shop, and if necessary I'll cover the replacement out of my own pocket. But at present I'm swaying on the side of living with it. This weekend I plan on getting under the car and removing the under tray to see if I can detect any non-conformance on the inside.

In fact, I've known him for years!
Right after lecturing my family on the necessity of leaving a manual-transmission car parked with both the e-brake engaged and the transmission in gear, I managed to demonstrate one reason why by parking my Volvo right behind the Acura, in gear, but without setting the e-brake, and promptly rolling right into the back bumper of the Acura when I started the Volvo.
Collision speed was about 0.05 MPH and the license plate nuts from the Volvo left a couple of dimples in the Acura's back bumper. Not hardly bad enough for a respray after applying some touch-up paint, but I can find 'em if I'm looking for 'em.
Besides the idiot in the Volvo, I am also unimpressed by either Honda's bumper paint or Volvo's license plate nuts, except I can't decide which was to blame.
