Some MT drivers scare me, the guy that hit me was driving me home after i took my car in the shop and he almost crashed his car again talking on his cell phone.

Thank goodness the damage to my car wasn't serious and i got it back after it was in the shop for one day. And the guy didn't run away so i didn't lose $300 for the premium either...

Still it hurts a lot when the car is only 1 month old
At least it's brand new now and i got a free car wash!

 

People these days need to learn to drive more carefully.

 

argh, i know what u mean. people and cell phones down here are absoutly dangerous. Driving home i was driving in the LEFT LANE doing about 4 or 5 over the limit and im behind a chick in a cavileer. So i speed up hoping that shell speed up, no chance. so i start hearing stuff hit my car, realizing that the truck is kicking up rocks i start to speed up more n tailgate a bit hoping that shell get the message to move her POS. Let you know there is nobody infront of us or behind us for a while. So finally she speeds up after i give her the brights (this was broad daylight about 4pm). once we pass the truck i move over and realize, she didnt speed up cuz i gave her the brights, she was slowly speeding up and not even realizing it, she was talking on the cell phone.

so you would think that was the end of it, so now im crusing about 10 over cuz im pissed, tired n wanna go home. she starts tailgating me. so now im pissed n i switch lanes, and make the left for my block, dumb chick still on the fone doesnt merge and almost clips the curb when she continued on straight....

argh!!!

It's not just Floridians, my friend. I've had similar experiences with drivers in CA, MD, VA, and DC. It drives me up the wall that these people drive like total lunatics and ask like nothing is wrong.

And just for future reference, if a car is right behind you and they flash their brights twice at you, it means GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY. It's not just for their convenience, it's for your own damn safety.

 

it's funny how EVERYONE calls MOST of the people "bad" drivers.

no you just dont hear stories about good drivers. you hear the bad ones. like the idiots that drive slow and weave all over the place or the idiot driving the expedition driving 15 over and weaving, yes i speed, signigiantly at times but im not driving an unruley truck all over the highway!!! im driving a "sports sedan" thats made to drive "sporty" and no im not condoning driving reckeless but i am also stating that my car and take manuevers safely at MUCH higher speeds than a damn truck.

sigh we need stricter driving liscences or something, some people werent made to drive

 

Being a bad driver is being a self-righteous prick who believes that it is his/her duty to enforce traffic laws. And as for calling everyone bad drivers, 99% of the time they're probably right. Most Americans can't drive worth . And people who think that because they follow the speed limit, it makes them a good driver, are

yeah well people should open thier windows more, im gunna start getting violent, speically when the next ****** that throws coins at my car is getting the whole damn coin changer in my car. yes some prick threw coins at me when i gave him the brigthts for cutting me off. i passed him n he threw coins at me n called me something to do with me being a teenager. argh old men driving beatup vans are also up there with the cellphone abusers

 

or even better! when ure sitting at a light and u make a left turn when the signal isnt there the regular one is green and the arrow isnt there (not even the red one). some lady starts beeping at me waving me to come back. shes not even in the intersection, it has nothing to do with her!

i totally understand you mg but at least you guys in the states get cheaper insurance in the states. Especially in BC, where it's basically just icbc.

i blame it on florida, people are werid here, its been a hell of a time adjusting.

about the coins...hmmm i dont even think i noticed a chip of any kind not even on the clear coat. and i knew he hadda throw it pretty hard to hit my car, i was doing about 40 or 50 speeding to get away from him. honestly people are werid all over but down here i dunno man, some people are off the edge. i think the teenage driver factor has alot to do with it also....thats another reason why i need to tint my windows.

 

how old are you? i tend to notice that people look in their mirrors at me and see that i look young and then drive slower and then when theres traffic they slam there brakes on when the traffic is like 200 feet in front of them. are they trying to make me run into them? people and their jeliousy.

anywayz ive concluded that....bad drivers make me a bad driver. i don't have the patience for people that drive 50 in the fast lane when theres no one else around and they won't get over.

im 17, and i know what u mean i get some mixed reactions, some people slow down and give me the right of way, others speed up, some act dumb. it really depends on the driver, what theyre driving and anything else. honestly, i just want to get some privacy when i drive, less the people know about me the better off i am

 

oh ok, i just meant that the auto repair shop cleaned my car inside and out for me. but thanks for the tip!
i guess i'll have to try to clean the other parts and avoid the front.....
