Hello;

I FINALLY took delivery of my PWP/Parch 05 TSX last night... This car rocks!!! I traded in my 02 RSX for this car, and I can't believe how much nicer this car truly is. I've already got 150 miles on it..... Anyway, I will be posting pics later...

Thanks guys.... The transmission is awesome, and definitely the best automatic that I've experienced. I had the 5-AT in my RSX, and my father had it in an 2000 TL and the tranny is really, really well-geared. The sportshift works quite well; upshifts and downshifts occur with almost no lag. Unlike as in the TL, on this car, you can manually control the 1-2 shift. At first I was a bit worried that the AT would sap alot of power from the engine, but so far my fears seem to be unwarranted. You'll like the 5-AT.

Thanks for the kind word guys. My impressions after spending the weekend with the car:

Engine/Trans: Much better than I expected. Though it could use a little more low end pull, it is very good indeed, and much faster than my old 02 RSX. The throttle tip in is fairly agressive, making one think that the car is much faster than it actually is. At idle this motor is SMOOTH(can hardly tell its running). The transmission downshifts quickly and precisely, and as I mentioned, the SS is excellent. Overall, very good in the power train department.

Handling/Suspension/Steering/Ride: AWESOME is the only word that I can use to describe the dynamics of the car. The ride is very solid and quiet(SOOO much better than on the RSX), and the car corners with very little lean. The steering has very good feel and feedback.

Interior: OH MY GOD this interior is gorgeous! I'm very happy that I would up going with the plood, as it looks very luxurious and surprisingly genunie. The leather is nice and supple, and the seats have good bolstering. The dash is gorgeous with the backlighting, and the ergonomics are first-rate. Fit-and-finish seems to be remarkable so far. The stereo is surprisingly good as well and I love the in-dash CD changer. Also, XM radio is awesome! The sound quality rivals a CD(no fuzziness or static), and I really enjoy the variety of the songs that are played. I will definitely be continuing with the service once my trial period is up.

Anyway sorry for the long post.... I just wanted to post my initial impressions... Now I want to go out and drive!!!
