Congratulations, I think you got a really good deal. Was it due to the end of the model year? What did you get for ammenities?

Yes give us more info. Coupe/sedan what year model etc. Although either ways i still think its not a good deal. I have been quoted invoice for 04 models from the start then made them drop more from there. For 03 models they started from 1500$ under invoice. Either ways i need more info to see if its a good deal, although i think this price here is only in LA because it so damn competitive.

 

It's the sedan, it's got C2, leather and automatic tranny, and they have 03's and 04's

 

Here in Texas, it's a fair deal. The coupes don't sell as well, but everyone loves a sedan.

 

You can get them for under invoice if you deal hard enough. The 230 IS NOT SELLING at all, especially the coupe. Don't let the MB dealer rough you up or play hoighty-toighty which I suspect he'll try to do.

 

Are you joking? the C230 sells A LOT. the sedan at least and so did the coupe at a very low price however. There are a lot of people who just want the name and presitage and at that price they can. The C-Class sells DAMN WELL. Last i read form the mercedes forum, while the economy was down, due to the c-class sales profit went up for mercedes.

 

I didn't say the whole C-Class range, just the 230. Perhaps where you're at, but the 230 is rotting on dealer's lots over here, especially after they brought out the 240. Even though I would rather have a 230, most people say, "Hmmm....240, 230, hmmm...240, 230....hmmm....that's 10 more.....240!"

If the 230 was selling, you wouldn't be able to get them for under invoice. When was the last MB sold that was able to be gotten at a price like that?

 

If you're talking about the coupe i would understand. However for the sedan the c230 sells better then the c240. I mean more hp, more torque, and more fuel efficient. There is no reason people will dish out more money on a c240. Actually the price on the c240s are a whole lot less now since no one buys the c240. The c230 sells better then what you are thinking. (im talking only about sedans here not coupes) I think the coupes/hatchbacks are stupid.
