Is this a good price?

I'm in the process of buying a new car cuz my old little beater car is so old. Anyway, got a couple of quotes for the TSX from a two dealers in the San Jose, CA area for the CG w/Quartz: one was for $27,305 and the other was for $27,051 -- both incl destination. My co-worker said to add 10% for tax & license.

Is this good in your opinion?

thanks.

My tsx was with nav 28300 something so subtracting about..... 1800 for nav, the navless version should be 26500? unless nav is worthless, then I dunno =). I got free wheel locks, splash guards, and all season floor mats with mine as well. =). Tax is the full 7.75% for California, and like 250 extra for title/lic. =)

I got one with navi from Sunnyvale for $28,871.

Get the best price from Stevens Creek (I started at $30,505, eventually ended up at 28,871, may take a while)

Sunnyvale matched the price.
Sunnyvale & Los Gatos are owned by the same people, so I am sure Los Gatos will match Stevens Creek as well.

Good luck.

Smile Advice on 2006 white/ebony Navi MT?

I need some guidance. I initially contacted various dealers and am learning that this one is a "rare find" (I hate salesman talk). When I was ready to get the car back in 2nd week of Dec, I was willing to put a deposit down and order one to get here in January. Now... this car won't be here until closer to end of February. I am frustrated at the low supply... I don't know if this gives me any bargaining room, but waiting for a new car this long just plain sucks.

Is the $28.8k before T&L? I am trying to get a quote on the OEM underbody kit together and "at cost" they are willing to agree with $1,200 installed. The initial price I was going to buy the car at was for $33,650 OTD, which is roughly ONLY $500 off MSRP and $1,200 OEM kit. So that means at $29,390 before destination.

You guys think I am getting ripped off? BTW, I have been talking to Marin Acura (who hasn't been very helpful since initial Jan delivery promise completely fell through but who knows who to blame!!). I believe Stevens Creek could give me a better deal since they sell more cars and they are closer to me! How does ordering the car works? Think Stevens Creek can get me the same car? At this rate, I won't be driving a car until March! Thanks for your !!!

The price I indicated is indeed before T&L. It is 5AT with navi.

When I was looking around to buy, nobody had a 6MT.
When I picked up mine last week, Sunnyvale told me they had one at the San Jose Auto show (my coworker was interested).

People at Sunnyvale were nice enough to deal with. Accessories were cheaper at Sunnyvale as well. I did not check Marin.

The two sticky "TSX Owner sign in" threads are useful in general, but it is hard to search & filter info specific to the year, region, etc.

Last time I searched through the prices, LA/Orange county area was a bit cheaper than the Bay area, but there were not many 06 owners in the Bay area at the time.
