Getting Really Exhilarated Now!

I was on the phone with my friend over at NorthShore Acura this evening and he told me that he already saw a PWP on Ebony parked in the delivery bay this afternoon time.
Basically their Sales Manager is waiting for a call from me to confirm the delivery date and my wife and I are thinking about Tuesday evening since I need to work the following 3 days.
Still trying to sell my old 92 accord EX-R these days.Wish it can go before next Tuesday then I don't have to worry about parking space.
Thinking about whether do the pro-pack for 200 bucks or not? When coming out of the factory,no coating stuff like that on TSX?

Protection package generally = all weather floor mats, mud guards, trunk tray and wheel locks. You should be able to get it thrown in as part of the deal.

Don't pick your car up at night.

Seriously. Wait a week if you have to. Do not pick your car up at night. It virtually guarantees that there will be a scratch or ding that you won't notice until the next day.

I think he's actually talking about underbody anti-rust spray and paint protective coating. I wouldn't pay for it, cars don't rust these days so underbody protection is pointless and you're going to be waxing your car regularly... right?

no,I won't pick it up at night..... The car is parked inside the delivery bay which is inside of the showroom.I just don't have time to pick it up.Tonight I may go and sigh the papers with my wife. Then after a couple of days,we will go together to pick it up.It's really bothering us cauz I sold my old car and company only let me drive a 91 Mazda 323 right now.....
The pro-pack,I only wanna do paint and leather protection.Peace of mind? Good idea or not?

It's gonna rain for 2 weeks here in Vancouver.I felt frustrated that the new car's gonna be in the rain the first couple of weeks..... I have to do the paper work before the month end, since as an employee of the auto group.I do understand that the GM over at Acura wants the number for Feburary......

You're going to be hand-washing and waxing your car and Lexol-ing the leather on a regular basis anyway, right? Right?

So why pay $200 for them to do it once before you pick it up?

I wouldn't say a scam, but since your on this forum, chances are your crazy about your car, and therefore will wash that baby /w nothing but the best (zaino? meguair?) and, the best leather protectant (lexol? etc?). Basically speaking, since your gonna protect it anyway, why ask the dealer to do it?

Not a scam per se, just a high labor charge for something you're going to do yourself anyway.

Guys, just came back from NorthShore.....Signed the documents and the deal is done now.
Our PWP is parked in the delivery bay and we did a visual check, there is no scratch but we gonna make sure again when we go take the delivery.
I didn't even know that HCFI can accept lum sum payment before..... We were happy that the manager told us HCFI does accept that way which is cool!
Gonna go pick it up on Thursday evening, grabbed the user manual back already and going to do some serious reading....
6Km on the car only!
Will keep updating.

Well, zaino or meguairs stuff is always good for the exterior. Interior, well try whatever haha, but theres always lexol thats been tried and tested. Wash every week or two with some zaino wash or meguairs wash. Every 2 weeks clean out the interior, and wipe it for dust. Every month to three months depending on how crazy you are, use some synth polymer or wax. Wax needs to go on more often, synthetic polymer lasts longer. Good luck, and as always, check the wash and wax forum for more details

Congrats, I picked up my 06 from North Shore also. It rained for 30 days afterwards, so I'm sure you'll have less rain to deal with.

I checked a couple of autoparts stores and just kinda decided to order it over the net instead of running around trying to find some.. If you type in Zaino, there is only one dealer in Ontario for Canada. Anyways, I have to say that it is very much worth as it smells great and is not greasy at all. It seems everybody that uses it on this site, including me, loves it.
