I wouldn't be surprised they are waiting till the first of the year so not to show less sales cost.

I spoke with the sales guy yesterday and this is what he told me. Going forward, they are eliminating the $500 rebate since 6 cars had been sold already. The people that are still waiting to pick up their cars will pay $500 over invoice at time of delivery. The rest of the people that have picked up their cars will get their rebate the first week of the new year.

Those of you that have picked up your cars should call to verify that you are getting your rebate the first week of the new year.

Happy New Year!!!!!!

I picked up my car on Friday and didn't have to deal with the rebate, just paid 500 over invoice. Everything went smoothly even though I had to deal with driving back in the heavy rain! Love the car so far!!!

I've been told my PWP is on a truck from Fresno, arriving tonight. Hope it's not pouring rain--oh, yeah, it will be. Hmmmmm......

I got my AT/CG/wit/NAV in the middle of Dec. 04.. I really love the car.. but it's the first time I actually owned a Grey Color. car. With my commute from SJ to Pleasanton.. I've already experienced my car being hit by loose gravel/ pebbles in the freeway from Big Rigs and Trucks.. I found several scratches/ nicks around the bumper/ front of the car.. Due to this, I am not enjoying my ride anymore.. M constantly nervous to drive it around.. but its the only car I can use when I do my sales calls! SUCKS!!!!
I need help.. can anyone.. suggest what I should do .. to help.. maintain.. my car.. do I need to take it to be polished? waxed? buffed??.. detailed? what is the damn difference?where should I take it to?
Any suggestions is very much appreciated!

Do a search for the "clear bra". You might be interested in buying this to protect you from nicks and scratches to the front of the car. Due to EPA regulations, the paint on recent cars are water based, meaning "they don't make them like they used to". As for polishing and waxing, I would suggest washing first, then claying the car (using a clay bar), then applying a paint sealant like Klasse All-In-One before the wax. Say hi to Paul for me.

I used to live in the Bay Area so I know what ya mean!!

Put a Bra, (nose cover) on it and and hope for the best. Main thing to worry about is the windsheild, sure to get cloudy with the rock chips and road debris traveling on those roads.

G36,

I ended up picking mine up at Acura of Concord(about 2 weeks ago) since was unable to give me a firm date of delivery. I had to pay a little more, but the price was not a factor for me. Love the car, smooth ride. Thanks for all your efforts. I appreciate it.

I picked up my PWP/Parchment/AT/Navi yesterday through the group buy.
This was the best car-buying experience I've had. No hassle, no pressure, no extras, unbelievably quick in and out of the finance office. was polite, professional; spent lots of time instructing me how to use the Navi--you need to go to school to drive this car!
G36, did you get yours today?
showed me your pix. your wife's a cutie. I'll be on the lookout for a brunette babe in a CG TSX!

Anyone interested in A-Spec wheels? I have 17" A-Spec wheels New in box. Cost me over $1400.00 with tax and will let them go for $1000.00 + shipping, or for you guys, I can meet half way somewhere and give them to you since we are all pretty close! I bought them when we ordered the car and then decided to do something else! Obviously as the post above states!

Let me know. The A-Spec look HOT! Part # 08W17-SEC-200B

G36, try to keep your sales in the Black Market section. This thread is already pretty cluttered.

I would like to thank Kenji for starting this thread and G36 for making the group buy a reality for all of us. I love my new car. For a 4 cylinders, it's very smooth and fast. I find myself going 90 plus on the freeway on occasion if I don't pay attention to the gauge cuz it's so quite and smooth.

I think the best way to arrange the group meet will be sending everyone an e-mail. Seems like no one check out this thread anymore.

Finally received the rebate yesterday! They actually forgot to process it until I asked...
Anyway, according to the general sales manager, all rebates should have been processed, so everyone should have either reveived a check or see the rebate reflected on his loan balance.

Thanks again G36 for making this possible!
