front lip only or full kit

Does it look good or bad to only have a front lip on the 04-05 model.
Is it better to have a full oem kit?
Anyone have pictures of the car with only the front lip install from different angles?

Comments and pictures are most welcome

thanks

what would be the point in getting just the front lip? I think it would make the car look worse. do it right and get the complete kit.

Some people only go with the front since it's the one that's most noticeable. However, it is a lip kit, which means it's added to the edge (ie: it'll lower the height of the lip). So if you look at it, you'll see the front lip at one height, and your side/rear higher than that height. If you don't mind it being uneven, then go ahead. Most people want the height to be the same all around.

Full kit. Go big or don't go at all. Cars with only a front lip on look very unbalanced when you see them from the side, and it just looks wrong to me.

Save up a bit and do it right.

imo, you can get away with the front only if, say, that's the only lip you can afford at the time. but ideally you want the entire kit.

This is not so good example of having just the front lip because its taken next to this friggen hook'd up MUGEN with 19s Volks black TSX.

I have just the front lip for several reasons. Like someone said above it does not make a big difference to have the who kit. Im saving weight and I like the look with just the front lip.

I agree, but I am sure it doesn’t weigh that much more having the sides and the rear, if your that concerned about weight, there is a lot of other things you can reduce before a couple pieces of ABS come into factor, however I do agree it doesn’t look that bad and your ride is a prime example, I would say get the front if it appeals to you, keep it if not get the sides + rear.

Isn't the front bumper a bit higher than the side of the car? So a front lip would even things out?

I was thinking about just getting the front 06+ Euro R lip

You know, I take back what I said. There are some instances where a car can look great with just the front lip. Yours is one of them.

Getting just the front lip would actually uneven things out. the front would hang lower and would not look proportioned when looking from the side.

envision this extreme...getting a mugen lip or even a mugen front bumper and leaving the sides and rear stock. it is a kit for a reason, it all flows together.

I disagree, I don’t see anything un proportioned about this, I do agree however getting a Mugen lip, or replica would heavily un proportion the car because it hangs so low, but the OEM Acura lip looks great.

I accutaly like how the body lines flow from back to the front,

Thank you guys for all the compliments but I just wanted to show a example of a TSX with just the front lip. The front spoiler makes the big difference to me. The car actually has side skirts on it already that almost match the body kit. I really never liked rear bumper skirts. I agree with the old saying " sometimes spoilers spoil the body lines" and some of the cars in Fast / Furious proved that. The TSX's natural body lines are beautiful.

Each to their own but IMO it looks very unbalanced. Go all the way or leave it alone.
