I don't know about the Accord coupe owners, but I test drove the Accord coupe V6 and the overall performance just didn't get me excited at all.

I test drove a TSX, felt very torque-less... Nice interior though but not that much different from my AV6 Coupe.

Well after spending time with a TSX I decided that it is truely the best luxury daily driver in its class.

Whatever I said about the TSX in the past I take it back! The TSX is a very mean machine, its no way in hell a grandmothers Accord, THIS is what the USDM Accord should have been!

So I gave in and traded my Accord V6 for the TSX since I was having issues with my Accord Coupe. I haven't regretted it since, the engine is one of the best N/A 4 cylinders out there, 2nd to only the S2000. I also love how the TSX's quality is much better than my 2004 Accords, over 1000mi's and not one problem or unscheduled dealership visit, unlike my Accord which was taken to the dealership numerous times.

The Acura dealerships are much better than Hondas too, alot more friendly and I love the free loaners.

The TSX tremendously out handles the Accord. The handling of the TSX shocked the hell out of me, the TSX is so MUCH faster in turns, I can breeze around turns and bends effortlessly in the TSX, while in the Accord it was tiresome and required alot more effort with dissatisfying results. In essence the Accord was a big whale struggling to get by in corners compared to the TSX, you can have all the power but if you can't turn efficently its useless, and is no fun at all.

I seriously regret overlooking the TSX all of this time and in the end I'm very happy with the TSX.
I wasn't that happy with my Accord, it was ugly to me, gave me problems, and wasn't even fun to drive.

Now the TSX, I love it, its absolutely beautiful, has much better quality inside and out compared to the Accord, and is very much fun to drive over the Accord!

In the end the TSX is in fact the better car, the Accord was ugly, not that quick for a 6 cylinder, and didn't have the qualities of the TSX.

The TSX also has promising modding potential over the Accord.

I am sorry for bashing the TSX in earlier post, please forgive me for my ignorance.

If anybody else with Accords is thinking about trading up for a TSX, I say do it!
You will not regret it!

[QUOTE=xizor]do you see yourself driving in an accord after driving your TSX? it would be night and day difference.

QUOTE]

I have shopped for some common cars since owning my TSX.
They are all a huge dissapointment that I so much more appreciate
the TSX when leaving the dealer and getting back into own.

Then I just bought a 4 cyl accord coupe for my daughter, just the LX 160 HP special lease
deal. It is not bad compared to TSX and is much better than the other brands we shopped.

There are differences but so much is common to the platform. I could own and drive
it easily. The 5 spd auto with sportshift is a feature that is difficult to do
without once having it. For a buyer below the TSX entry price,
the Accord Coupe is very very good. Even 4 cyl.

The coupe is plenty good looking to me but the rear of the 4 door is a bit odd.
My wife might be getting the 4 door. The Honda dealer made a great trade where
the Acura dealer offered thousands less over a full year ago for the same car, that I had
to buy my TSX without trading. That is one reason one might have to go to Honda
for a car.

For various reasons, one might have to go to Honda
and could not go wrong with the Accord.

Acura intended the TSX to appeal almost exclusively to a market comprised primarily of dashing young men with exceptionally large penises and, to a lesser extent, sexy, young women of refined taste.
The Accord is marketed to your mom.

Have them fly a kite!

2004 Honda Accord V-6 sedan: Good but ugly
2004 Acura TSX i-4 sedan: Better and very good looking.

When we had our Volvo S-70, people would look at us all the time with a somewhat passing interest. In our Odyssey, we are *completely* ignored. But with the TSX, young female drivers hurry up, tail gate, pull up, look in, and then when the see I look like this: :killer: , they suddenly become disinterested. But, their passion was ignited. My mother-in-law (age 52) hollered "Zow-Doggies!!!" when she saw it for the first time. She'd been trying to figure out just what *that* car was and would have her hubby speed up to take a look. Guys driving by when I'm washing it holler out their hearty approval.
*That's* why I chose the TSX over the Accord.

But an Accord.....it seems to be great for the Nearing-Depends set or the UsuallyLimpbecausethefamilyistoobigsoI'mtired set. Yes, it's a great automobile. I'd just have a hard time letting a TSX go for an Accord.

BTW, I thought I read that Honda was shifting Odyssey production to their plant in Lincoln, Alabama to free up capacity for the MD-X. Also that the CR-V is built by Honda UK.
Yes almost 3 years ago now a plant was opened in AL for the Odys.

The CRV is japanese built/uk built and the Civic Si is uk built.

As for robotic labor.......seeing how HoA employs the most people in the state of ohio excluding the gov't......not as much as youd think. But yes there is some automation.

i know who it was, and im not worked up about the neg rep.

its the manner in wich it happened, the fag hasnt even posted in this thread, thats just the start of it!!

he should've posted in this thread, and explaind why he doesent like accord coupe's, not just dish out neg rep, and not even post a word about why.

its bullshit, plus the kid is 18, so that kinda explains why he's dumb as shit.

21_in_az,

two things:

1) you come to A-TSX.com to argue with thousands of members Accord Coupe > TSX, you should expect ppl disagree with you. i am the first to disagree with you, and i use my #1 reason (TSX's appearance is better) and negative reputation points as the disagreement. why can't you accept ppl disagree with you? likewise if i go to an Accord forum and argue with everyone, TSX > Accord Coupe, i will get yelled at and possibly banned.

i had the choice to pick Accord Coupe and TSX, and i picked TSX due to the many reasons that other members posted already. I didn't want to do a repost that's whY i didn't post.

2) I don't see why you take reputation so personally. you said i am a child, 18-year-old, well i say you are the child. the fact you "revenge" by giving me back the rep points prove so. you are so obsessed, and angered by "points" on a forum. who is immature there you tell me? we come here to chill, not to fight for reputation points or something. sorry but seeing you almost cry about losing reputation points, i can't help but to :ghey:

Geese, chill out. I'm sure plenty of people out there are hating the TSX also. But, I don't care. I love my car and that's all that matters. Besides, I don't think everybody was hating, especially not the coupe. That was my second choice of car anyway. I still love that v6, but oh well. I'm happy and you should be too.

Well look who decided to join the party! WELCOME!

im not going to argue with you in this thread, with the exception of this post, so either start a new thread so that the mods can delete it, or dont respond to this.

1st, im an origanal member of this site, i dont COME HERE to argue.

2nd, when did i EVER say that the Coupe is a BETTER car than the TSX? I said that the COUPE is a totally DIFFERENT car than the TSX.
I DID say that the accord SEDAN is shit compared to the TSX, the TSX is a PERFECT every day car!! READ THE ENTIRE THREAD STARTING AT PAGE 1.

3rd, YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST TO DISAGREE WITH ME, and you wont be the last.

4th, how the fuck do you think that giving out negative rep points is the way to disagree? this is the stupist thing i have ever heard, and it shows that you are defanatly a Newb.
I completly accept, and know, that people will/do disagree with me/people, HOWEVER just dishing out negative rep points is not the way to disagree with someone. explain why you feel the way you do, that way people can RESPECT YOU and your comments, if that gets you no-where, then give out neg rep points.

5th, there is no forum in the enitre world that will ban you for thinking that your car is better, it is YOUR opion. but, you better be able to prove your point when you open your mouth. PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

um...........WOW. you dont see why I take my reputation so personally? hahaha, i might'eve flipped out a little bit, i admitt that. BUT, I have worked hard for my rep, and i dont want some little fucker like you messing it up for no reason!!!
If you dont like my car, then tell me, dont go behind my back and post some negative rep to my account, and not even give your name. thats a cowardly move, not to mention shady as all hell!

1st, i didnt "revenge".........i did the exact same thing you did, gave you neg rep for no reason at all.

you went about this the wrong way, and it pissed me off. next time you want to give someone negative reputation points because they drive a different car than you, think twice.

what you did reflects your age very well, your level of imaturity is not even close to what the civilized world considers "adult".

Its cool if you dont like my car, but next time read the ENTIRE thread and know your agument.
I love'd my TSX, and have said it many times in this thread.
I own a Acoord Coupe v6.

DEAL WITH IT.

This has gone far enough. wingwing you were wrong in giving neg rep in this situation but 21 you are taking this waaay to far, its only rep points, nobody's been shot, get over it, both of you.

If you two want to discuss this further PM me or eachother.
