i was forced to make my choice, not my fault an illegal immagrant totalled my car, sent me to the hospital, and then ran back accros the border.

Accord sold in Taiwan is based on North American Honda Accord, not JDM. the exterior alone can not determine the car, Canadian TSX are not 100% identical to US ones. but i agree Honda make excellent cars

tsx = handling oriented
accord v6 = power oriented
which one fits your taste?
I'm from LA, personally power aint gonna do me any good here, traffic is bumper to bumper. Overall, TSX is a very well refined and balanced package, handling, power, luxury, prestige. I tried the accord V6 before I bought my tsx, power felt just slightly stronger (maybe i'm just numbed) than the tsx, not that big of a difference, if you add on all the prestige the TSX gives ya, I dont think the choice is hard to make between these 2. Bottom line is, if i wanted something for pure speed, i would've gotten the Subaru WRX for slightly less money. I like the balance of elegance and performance on the TSX, big difference in the Acura and Honda badge, and seriously, my f@T@$$ looks better than exterior Accord V6. Who would you hump, Jennifer Lopez or Anna Nicole Smith? it's all about fitting in as a whole package. my 2 cent

how do you figure that the accord handles worse? it is lighter, and more manueverable.
like i said, after driving the accord for more than one test drive, i have fallen in love with the whole package. performance/handleing/luxury.
and, please, stop comparing apples to oragnes. anna nicole and j-lo? c'mon man, thats like a pinto to a bently. one is old, slow, and fat (anna) and the other has a nice front grill and great rear end!
apples to apples, carrots to carrots.

JLO = TSX all balanced inside out, nice 2 meat missiles in the front, round backdoors...
Anna = Accord... old, fat, look way too wide to be well balanced
so you think JLO is hot right? then you must like the tsx too no?
although wouldnt it be nice to have the set of meatballs from anna to jlo? hmm *imagines the picture*.... on second thought..... hell no, JLo all the way
anyways, what did you end up getting to replace ur slammed tsx 21 az? STi?

well, like i said before, i'm sticking to the TSX until I get some major maintenance headaches and lots of $$ to invest to fix it in the future.
now my friend and his cousin told me that i should've gotten an Rx-8 or G35 coupe instead of TSX
i agree with the G35 coupe, because i know i'm the only die-hard fan of that car, but until i move out of a snow climate, that would be a bonehead decision.

The main reason(s) I choose the TSX over V6 accord coupe wasi) 4 doors are much more convenient in my life, (ii)waranty 5 year/50k- which happens to be about how long I am planning on keeping the car, (iii) HID's are cool, (iv) color combinations, (v) OE sounds system is better. I am not into doing ANY upgrades to this car(to me its a HUGE waste of money), its a daily driver for me nothing more, I wanted the car that best suited my needs for my life and the TSX fit the bill. So far I couldn't be happier!

Accord Coupe/Sedan, or the TSX.
Enough.
All three of them have distinct advantages over the others, so obviously, your preference of which ever suites you is your preference, but rambling on and on about what "your fabricated statistics" of the cars are and assuming "things are better on this because of blahblah" is totally subjective and has barely any substance.
All three are great cars, but in my "subjective" opinion, I would pick the TSX, then the coupe, then the Sedan, because it's "my preference".

like i said many times........
for an every day car, the TSX is the perfect car on the market!! hands down, no argument.
however, it would be smart for acura to offer a v6 edition of the tsx also, but honda wont let them. 4 accords in the market are enough. (160hp accord, 200hp tsx, 240 accord, and the coupe accord)
however, due to my situation with the wreck and all, and not really needing a 4 door anymore, i chose the v6 coupe. the money was there, the setup was right, and the overall situation was perfect.
i was about to buy a g-35 coupe, but the infiniti dealer was an asshole and didnt want to sell any cars, his loss.
i plan on keeping this car 2 years, tops...then im getting an m3 bmw or a denali.

it all depends on what i need at the time......
i am about to buy a boat in the near future, and my brother has a tahoe that i can use to tow it with for the mean time......but, i'll need a truck eventually to pull it with, so thats where the denali comes into the picture.
however, i REALLY want an m3, so if i can afford to keep the boat on the water then ill get the m3, or ill buy an inexpescive truck and the m3.
dunno yet though, only time will tell!

then you shouldn't put any mods on the Accord V6 coupe then if u're going to buy an M3 in less than 2 yrs? it wouldn't be worth it, (IMO). it's your money.

I own a 2004 AV6 Coupe fully loaded with Nav+XM radio and I AM GLAD I BOUGHT IT... I love smoking TSX's!
There is never a replacement for displacement or cylinders, BUT you can always fix the handling of any car, even add LSD's or aftermarket HIDs!
AND I've been in both the TSX and Accord V6 EX, the interior is exactly the same!!! Hell you can even get a Autodiming mirror with the Accord... The only difference is that I don't have cheap plastic construction by my shifter!
Plus everyone knows by now Acura = Honda.... I considered a TSX but I am glad I went with an AV6 Coupe.
Oh yea is this Accord V6 ugly?
I think not!
I see more TSX drivers glancing at my car (from the rear!) and boy does it feel good when you know you made the right decision.
AV6 = A mans Accord.
TSX = The typical grandmother 4 banger Accord.
Good luck trying to keep up!

Yes that coupe is ugly.
I'm glad you're happy about your decision but you obviously still like the TSX otherwise you wouldn't be here.
No the interiors are not exactly the same. Similar maybe but just as an example, check out how your headliner is attached at the front and compare that to the TSX. The fit and finish of the Accord is not the same as the TSX.

wow , 2 trolls in one day. Maybe the same person?
that accord you posted is disgusting.
AV6 - nice big car to haul the family around
TSX - sporty and classy car to have fun in.
Again I urge all you v6 lovers to watch the vtec.net video where they couldnt beleive how much more fun the TSX was over the accord.
But if you have a couple kids or alot of groceries, accord is the way to go for sure.

Hey now I like my Accord V6 Coupe...but I am on here obviously cuz I just fell in love with the TSXs the other day at the Acura dealership! I haven't test driven one yet, so I cannot offer my opinion on the handling.
Everybody has their own personal opinions about what they do and don't like. So nobody can really win in that situation.
I am really thinking about somehow getting rid of my Accord for a TSX but dunno if I can handle leaving the 240hp V6 for the 200hp i-4 I like to drag race...not autoX, so handling is really not my main concern. I dropped my car with Nuespeed Race springs, and added a front STB and it handles much better than stock now. Also, I NEVER liked sedans before until I seen the TL then I noticed the TSXs also...thats why I went with an Accord Coupe.
BTW, what kinda 1/4 mile times are you guys running anyhow?! Just curious...I know there are more performance mods available for the TSX too...
Again, here is a pic of my Accord...I wouldn't call it "ugly" but like I said, everyone has their own opinions.
BTW, aV6coupe748, you said you are on V6P.net too?! You wanna share your screen name over there with me? Or PM it to me?

but, dude.......dont come over here claiming that accord is a better car than the tsx.
you'll get flamed for years!
i think im THE ONLY ONE who has driven both the cars on a daily basis for over 6 months......and i can say that both have advantages and dis-advantages.
TSX +'s: hid xenon....STOCK, the rear mirror is STOCK, hella classy!!!, fun, sporty, economical, great stock sound system, tons of potental.
TSX -'s: SLOW! it really needs a v-6!!..........thats about it, imho.
ACCORD 2 DOOR! +'s: FAST, FUN, MAJOR potental!!!
ACCORD 2 DOOR -'s: needs HID stock.......thats about it.
look people, you guys know me around here, and im not crazytree or larch......and im not some stupid little kid that goes around throwing eggs at you people.......
BUT......when comparing the 2 DOOR ACCORD to the TSX, honestly, its a whole different world. when the tsx first came out, it was being compared to the IS300, BMW 330, etc....and this wasnt, and still, isnt a fair contest. the tsx just doesent compare to those cars for the $$, engine wise....HOWEVER, everything else about the tsx is the SHIT! drop a v6 into it, and you got a bad-ass car....STOCK!!
Now, i havent said a word about the 4 door accord, cause i hate them!!! the 4 door accord is the uglyiest POS that honda has ever made, except for the ELEMENT. hahaha
also, as far as the REAR VEIW MIRROR goes......the dimming one for the accord is an OPTION, not a stock peice of equipment.
also, comparing the service between both of HONDA & ACURA, when buying an acura, you are buying a luxury brand. acura does the little "extra" stuff.....like, the owners manuel is in a leather case, honda just hands you a book. little things like that let you know that acura is luxury, and honda, well.....honda isnt.
'nuff said.
