IF I was going to put a sticker on my car, I'd put it on the rear window, and not the paint.

I agree with OC; I might put a sticker on my car if it were a beater...

Why would you want to do this?

I believe goo gone should do the trick for any adhesive that is left. I would heat the sticker off when peeling it off also, just to ensure you don't pull off paint.

Yeah, window statics seem to do the trick. Why mess up your paint?

I don't think it'll harm your paint, if it's just a adhesive sticker.

I get hell from my Italian friends for not putting a flag sticker on my car. Just not my cup of espresso. But I did need to remove a decal the dealership put on and I refused to let them do it. Used a hair dryer to warm up the decal then carefully pealed it off. I then used a little pre wax cleaner to get the last of the junk off the car. Fresh coat of wax and voila... like it was never there.

Hope that helps.
