Dumbass Drivers!

So I was cruising along the 405 yesterday on my way to work, enjoying the ride, etc...then this old Oldsmobile or something like that realizes that he/she missed their exit and decides to cut me off...they drove over the exit lane shoulder and into a pothole, sending big chunks of rocks and asphalt my way!! I was like "f*ck this isn't happening!" So after a few "bangs" from the rocks on my windshield and hood/fender, I was not looking forward to inspecting my paint job...

Anyhow, there are minor scratches on the windshield, and some minor paint chips on the front passenger side fender...such bad luck! There may be more paint chips once I clean the car...

Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing paint chips? Thanks. :'(

Touch up paint from your dealer for a quick fix. I tihnk window scratches can be filled depending on how deep they are.

sorry to hear about the damage. hopefully it's not too bad.

socal drivers are pretty bad (watch out for those mb, bimmer, soccer mom suvs, hell, just watch out for everyone). houston drivers suck even more so. they'll cut you off, usually without signaling, even if there's only a little more than a 1 car distance between you and the car in front of you, at 75 mph. a lot of these morons also drive at 60 or 65mph in the left lane.

Believe me, they are no better here in the DC Metro area. Plenty of dumbasses (the more I watch That 70's Show, the more I like that word) to go around.

Last week I was driving up to Ontario airport to pic up family. Out of nowhere a huge rock gets flung at me and WHAM!! Hits somewhere on top, but I wasnt sure if it was the windshield or the roof. And im only halfway there and cursing the whole way. I get out expecting the worst, but luckly it hit the windshield. Suprisingly, it only left a little pit, didnt crack it. I thought for sure something was jacked up...got lucky.

Sorry for whathappend, People are friggin morons.

When rocks fly at me, I hope the hit the windshield because replacing the winshield = less from my wife then getting dents fixed.

Man, hope that Oldsmobile wound up with a bent rim, flat tire, and effed up suspension form the pothole. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Unfortunately bad drivers are everywhere, even if I do think that LA has more than its fair share.

I think it is amazing how many people don't care at all about their cars. What is more worry some is they don't understand we do! I have now had my TSX for 2 days and if I see someone even near it I worry. I am going to have a heart attack in a week! Don't mind me, first new car jitters.

I recommend a small model car detail brush to apply the touch up paint for best results.
