Dropped T-tap down tweeter opening

I dropped a t-tap (small plastic object) down the tweeter hole on the passenger side dash, trying to install a new tweeter. I can't see it, it went down there somewhere. Is there any way to get it out without dismantling the dash for hours? Is there a way to take the glove box out? I searched but couldnt find anything

the metal piece in the tap might be magnetic, you could try sticking a magnetic bolt retriever down there and hope you catch it

The glove box come out if you pop out the two (one left, one right) plastic thingys - wish I could be more descriptive, but it's not a clip or a fastener or a screw... they are just on the sides of the glove box (when open) and they pop out pretty easy. However, the tweeter hole is to the right of the glove box, it could still be under the dash (there is kind of a shelf) or it might have worked it's way down toward the kickpanel. Have you tried taking the trim panel under the dash off? It might simply have worked it's way down and is just sitting there.

This did the trick. I pulled off the trim panel below the glove box at the feet of the front passenger and I was looking up there to find it, but then looked down and it was sitting on the floor, must have dropped out when I pulled the panel off.

Thanks guys!
