driver 2 to driver 1

Hello,
I am trying to set up my acura fob to be a driver one.
I have tried the push lock and unlock together. Get in the car. lock the door. and turn on.
But I can only get it assigned to driver 2.

are there any tricks assigning a fob to driver 1?

thanks

I do not have two position memory, but it was my understanding that the fob is tied to one specific driving position.

On the back of the FOB is there a picture of a seat with a number next to it?

Also it may be helpful to put the year of your car in the post (or included as part of your footer), as this may have an impact on the solution to your question.

Your probably using fob 2, should be on the back.

Thank you all.
I have a 2008 TSX.
My fob does say 2 on it.
Can only driver 1 reset the oil light?

Confirm: Fobs are permanently set to Driver 1 or 2. You can't reset them.
Your car manual shows how to reset the oil light if you still have it. But you will have to go to the oil percentage meter, then hold the "set" button (or the bottom right thumb button) for a many seconds to get it to ask if you would like to reset the oil indicator.
That is if that is the "oil light" you are getting. If you are getting a little oil lamp indicator that is not just "change oil" you need to get that checked.
