Dashboard Removal

Hey guys,
did a few searches but couldnt find anything exactly that would fit.
Im trying to route a wire behind the dash up by the temp sensor around that area. Im trying to hardwire my passport up maybe 3 inches above the temp sensor.

whats the best way of getting a wire back up there?

im thinking of maybe even going through that vent thats up there but i 1 dont wanna drill holes and 2 dont know how hot that can get and dont want to ruin the integrity of the wire.

let me know what you guys think.

also, is that fuse box by our left knee easy to take off, not just the cover but to acutally get back there and put a wire in and fuse it up?

i should take pictures, depending on if i can get a freind over to help out.

I'm not sure, but if there isn't a DIY on it you should consider making one. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it...

Well i want to do it the right way, i was wondering if the helms manual said something about it. it should be a fairly simple job to do.

Yeah I'm not sure. New to the boards right now. I know there are people around here that can give you advice, I'm just saying that if there isn't a DIY you should consider making one. I know they would all eat it up because it helps everyone who is doing an interior front-end mod whether it be putting in a new head unit or running a wire like you.

Where do you want to tap into for power? You can get it from a few different places. The Fuse box, 12v outlets, or rear view.
