Crossing other TSXs

For the last month, I've seen quite a few TSX on the road... The funny thing is that everytime I crossed a TSX's path, the other driver would actually signal its presence... Wether they wave, hit the high beams try to catch you on the highway to get noticed, TSX drivers seem to be proud of their ride!

I understand that the car is fairly new and there is a low volume of these cars on the road (at least here in Montreal) but the same thing could apply to the TL or G35... I asked my friend who owns a G35C about this kind of behaviour and he never experienced it...

From what I understand from this is that most TSX buyers are car enthousiasts and pretty proud of their rides (independant of age or sex)...

Did anyone experience this??? Is it only a something that only happens in my area???

Cheers

Don't see too many other TSXs yet. But, on our roadtrip to Santa Barbara this past weekend, I stopped at a red light on State Street right across from a meteor blue one. I waived and the other driver just ignored me. I know he saw me too.

if i am driving to work or wherever it seems that ever owner seems to give a head nod, a thumbs up or some other gesture, i used to get this alot when i drove my brothers wrangler they call it the "Wrangler wave" i guess its just a thing among the select group that knew what they were buying when they got it.

How about a TSX 'nearly unique' salute - hit your hazard light button for a single flash of the side view mirror lights (ok, sure a benz can do this as well, but its stilll somewhat unique)

I've actually done this! Too bad the other driver didn't know what I was doing, all I ended up achieving was confusing the people behind me.

We should definitely have some sort of standardized signal when we see another TSX. That way, if two site members happen to run across each other, it'd be easy to identify and if nothing else, would be a sign of respect to our fellow TSX buyers.

Hahaha, I weaved traffic because I saw another black/black TSX up ahead. When I got side by side, I looked over and he did a double take and smiled from ear to ear....

Then I gave him one of these , downshifted and was on my way.

Yeah, like a gang sign!
But seriously, I'm all for it. But only people on this forum will know it's a standardized TSX signal.

I've gone with the thumbs-up with mixed results. A few big smiles and thumbs back, but also a couple what's-wrong-with-him looks.

In Sydney there are heaps of Accord/TSX and there will be alot more I see alot of them, so I guess in Australia they are not cars for enthusiasts, they are just normal commuter cars. I spoke to my car sales rep and he said that he sales about 8 of them just on the weekend alone.
