crack in windshield :-(

crack in windshield :-(

i parked the car completely fine on thursday night but when i took it out on friday i had this crack, dunno how i got it, it does look big from inside but when i roll my fingers from out outside i hardly feel crack, might be just like a hair
now question is what should i do?
does warrant covers it?

the warranty does not-but your car insurance (depending on your deductible) does.

Don't know about NY, but in Mass, insurance will buy me one windshield a year w/ no deductible (it's covered under comprehensive). You're paying all that money to an insurance company, maybe you should familiarize yourself with what you're paying for.

Not all states do that-I know it is not done in NC.

Did a little research-Ma is one of the zero deductible states. Fl, Ky and SC are the others- This means by law you allowed a windshield replacement if you have comprehesive ins. In Ma and Fl windshields are only covered but in KY and SC it covers all glass replacement.

And judging by that crack it looks over 6" so you're most likely going to need to replace the windshield. Check your insurance policy as you'll probably have to pay a deductible.
