Hi,

Do you guy know how much a bottle of engine coolant and the automatic transmission oil are?

Does different dealer charge different price?

Thanks!

Don't see nothing there that I need in that site. No coolant or transmission oil for my TSX.

^^^ Thanks!

So... I should screw the guy from the Acura who wants $20 buck from me.

Oh yes... just remember. Do you know where I can find out how much the plastic axle seal for the right axle coming out from the transmission casting is? need to replace that one too.

Thanks again!

Do you mean the CV boot?

And you can find coolant and transmission fluid at HandA, you might have to look under the 01 Civics or CRVs.... but its there.

Try Honda dealers too. Since the coolant, transmission oil, engine oil, steering fluid are all the same between Honda and Acura, you can also buy them from Honda dealers. Sometimes the prices at a Honda dealer will be cheaper than an Acura dealer.

Not the CV boot. The entire axle "snap" into the transmission casting with a lock ring. You usually "hammer" the entire axle into the transmission. There is a rubber seal that goes into the end of the axle. That rubber seal is leaking. So, it is leaking transmission oil from that gap.

And thanks for the link. They have pricing for the coolant and oil over there for the civic. Don't want to get ripped off by the dealer... you know...
