Comptech not Closing? Under New management.

I was checking out the TL forum and it seems Comptech is not closing but moving under a new management. It seems the name and the people are still there.

Sounds like good news for us future S/C TSX owners.

Great news. I just called and talked to someone there. Looks like they are moving, but should be open in about 4 weeks. I also heard that my main contact is still working there, he's a solid guy so that's good news.

I've heard through the grapevine that they'll be open up again but this time in the Santa Cruz area with the "family problem" resolved and a change in scenery. I wish them well.

No rattle here either. About two months of ownership and no out-of-the-ordinary sounds. JTso suggested it might be restricted to AT-equipped cars.

Sorry for the

I think I would prefer the Comptech S/C compared to the r_dshift model. I don't think the 5AT tranny could handle that much torque year after year as shown on the r_dshift specs. I haven't read of any 04/06 5AT S/C owners with tranny problems (yet).

Has anyone talked with Comptech recently? I wonder what's the status of them being operational again? Their website still looks outdated/untouched since they temp. closed.

I haven't heard from them, but I've been really busy and haven't even tried. Give them a call, I heard it's suppose to be pretty soon.

So has anyone been able to get in touch with Comptech recently? Josh @ Excelerate has tried numerous times, but no one's called him back.

After driving a 335i, I'm fiending for boost these days...
