Question Color difference between ASM and SSM

I was wondering what the color difference between ASM and SSM. I recently got into a small accident and got rear ended. I have included a picture of the damage below. I asked one of the members (buste2) to take a few pictures of his Aspec kit to see if it would cover the damge and it looks like it won't. Image below. So, I was wondering if the Aspec kit for 04-05 rear bumper will cover the damage and if so what color 04-05 silver should I get to match the ASM for my TSX.

Rear end damage

Actually the damage that I want to cover up is the large scratch on the bottom. Which to me looks like the 04-05 Aspec kit will cover that. I'll patch the smaller scratches with touch up paint.

Wait, my bad, the OEM kit looks like it WILL cover it...Theirs a strip that goes across the bumper on the kit, just below that top ridge.

However, ASM will not match SSM. If you wanted it to look right, you would have to get it painted.

If the bumper is still structurally sound you could try sanding down around the gouge area, fill it with touch up paint, polish and sand a little, and then buff it to match the original paint. It'll take some work but save you some money. You can pick up a paint pen from Honda/Acura dealership for this. Here's a good article with some before, during, and after photos:

Talking

The person's insurance company did pay me for the damages. I already deposited the check. I figured that since I was planning to get the Aspec kit anyway might as well use the money for the insurance company to buy the kit. Kill two birds with one stone. Cover damage and get the Aspec body kit. But, for the looks of it I might just have to repair the bumper and get the Aspec kit later.
