CNet humiliates TSX, again!
Gives it a so-so rating, and there are super-offensive comments like
"The TSX is boring in too many ways. "
"There is little driving excitement to be had with the Acura TSX."
WTF? I mean, TSX might be underpowered compared to Infiniti, might not have Mark Levinson like a Lexus, but this car is absolutely fun to drive! Boring? I'd really like to have some of the stuff the the reviewer was inhaling when he drove the TSX.
I sincerely wish CNet stops make fool of themselves, leave the automobiles alone and go back to their plasma TVs and laptops!
The whole review, for the masochists:

They rated 8.0 for 2006 Acura TSX. http://reviews.cnet.com/2006_Acura_T...tag=prod.txt.1
With an addition of TMPS sensor, the rating falls to 6.6? They must be crazy.

If the engine had 270hp and 240 tq then they would give it a 10. Its morons like that which do not understand driving. Most of the public would have there same reaction though...power means everything to people. I think the answer to Chrysler's problems is to stick a Hemi in the Caravan.....it will sell like hotcakes. That's my faith in the idiot public. People are irrational not rationale like economic theory suggests - if people were rationale then there would be no Chrysler and certainly no Volkswagen.

Don't worry about it. People know that CNET's reviewers are so amateur and biased that their reviews are often times worthless.

exactly what ostrich said. cnet reviews are worthless at best. i checked them out when i was about to buy my tv. they knocked the samsung 50" plasma - HPS5053... well I've been in love with it since.
their computer soft/hardware reviews aren't that great either so I'd take their car reviews with a grain of salt!

Consider this: if they gave it an outstanding review, which we all know it deserves, more people would be buying the TSX. Then with more of them on the road we would be less unique. I for one like being the only ABP TSX in the parking lot. Let's face it, would you really want a car with a owner base like the Camry? They're bloody everywhere because they get good reviews and are a 'safe choice'. No thanks. You and I don't need validation from CNET that we know a perfect ride when we drive one.
I'll stand by for all the tomatos from the Camry fans now.

they said "There is little driving excitement to be had with the Acura TSX" ............i bet they didn't even tap the gas pedal above 3k..........and doubt that they test the VTEC power

So, in the new TSX review, they praise the stylings of the A3 over the TSX, call it less efficient than the bluetec E320 (who actually has a bluetec?) and say it only appeals to nerds.
CNet, oh how you have fallen.

cnet can suck my right nut. I saw that picture of the 12.0 MPG. WTF is up with that. Did they forget to put 91 octane or maybe they just cant drive. All of the things that they said were bad I think are good. So anyways, they should leave it up to the proffessionals to rate these cars not some assholes that dont know anything about nothing

I Quit
TSX is slow people, CNet is worthless for reviewing cars, just line consumer reports is worthless at reviewing performance. But for being a tad on the slow side of life, the TSX is an all around fun car to drive. Alas, in America everything that makes a car "fun to drive" is horsepower, it could handle like shit, be noisy as all get out, have cheap plastic all over the interior and look like crap but if it shoots over 250 horsepower then it's "fun" and thus a good car. So reviews wont change until America looks at cars holisitically and not just by horsepower numbers, which by the way are typically lies

Actully Consumer Reports is rated by comsumers. Those Surverys you get by mail after you purchase a new car and ask you your experiance and opinions, those are submitted to companies like consumer reports. So the reviews you see in consumer reports is thousands of peoples thoughts, opinions, and experiances all in one magazine or web site. As far as cnet goes that is just some idiot that doesnt know anything.

Did all of you get this car to enjoy it, or to revel in it's 'status'?
Don't place so much weight in what other people think, eh?

The problem here is if they are using unqualified people to test one product it devalues the other reviews on the site. If someone from cnet wants to review the car they should put it on epinions or some other review site with no reference to cnet.
