Arrow clean/protect tsx exhaust tips

Anybody know of a good cleaner and/or wax for cleaning and protecting the exhaust tips? I like keeping the inside circular part of the exhaust tips shiny.

Thanks!

yeah I'd like to know this too. I always wash the tips and I've put wax on them a few times, but I'm not sure if that did much good or not. any other ideas?

Yes, this should be in wash & wax. That said, I've found a good metal polish, like Mother's, does the job for cleaning. Pulling the tips off (one bolt) make cleaning easier and more thorough. Not sure you need a protectant for something like this.

I use NEVRDUL on mine. Works wonders. I used it once to remove a year's worth of soot, tarnish and road salt stains from my DC Sports cat-back on my Civic. My dad introduced it to me because he used to use it on our sailboat.

2000 grit wetsand paper did the trick for me. They look like brand new, and only took about 30 sec to do both up.

I'm going to have to try that!

I have 2.5 years worth of soot deposits on mine from when the car was burning oil like mad (new block put in now so it's 10000% fixed).

Did you use any polish after the 2000 grit, and/or any protectant after that?
