um... NO. Since you are at 10k, head to the dealership. Report back your findings.

Does it only blink on car start and goes away after a few sec ? if so, unless it changed for 06, you can hold the reset button in the cluster and turn on the car, and keep holding it till the light stops blinking.. and do an oil change..

read the manual.. it should explain there how to reset it.
