cassette removal

has anyone removed their cassette player and put another storage box in its place? I test drove 3 with no cassette and then bought with, but I don't want it there. I'd be happy to trade my cassette for the storage box in its place.

as far as i know...the tsx doesn't come with the cassette player standard. It's an added option that cost a few hundred dollars......

I was going to get it too but changed my mind because I liked the storage capacity. Buddy, there's nothing like good old Greek music on cassette - CD doesn't compare!

Dunno....don't have a cassette player. But I'm guessing if yours has one you can ask the dealer to remove it for you.

I had a cassette player too which I used with a cassette adapter to play MD's. I've since removed it and replaced it with an EQ with aux inputs (using the same brackets). Instead of putting a storage bin back in, you may want to consider this a great opportunity to reuse the brackets that held the cassette player to hold some sort of EQ, add'l 12V sockets, or other electronic accessory. Just about any DIN sized item will fit, and removing the cassette player is a breeze.

Just a thought.
