CAr is back from shop, headlight not leveled.
The car is back from the shop and overall the job looks good. The hood, front bumper and left headlight were all replaced. The paint job is good. However, the left headlight is not leveled correctly. It is slightly lower than it is supposed to be. Does anyone know where the levelers are? I looked briefly and couldnt find them.
EDIT: I know that the HID profile has the right side higher than the left. BUT i can clearly see two distinct lines from each headlight, whereas before the work there was one continuous line.

I can clearly see 2 lines also when I am shining them on something close...if it's on something further away it looks more like one line. Take it back to Acura and have them raise the driver side a bit.
I remember reading somewhere that the left beam is supposed to be slightly lower than the right beam in order to reduce glare to on-coming drivers. If I remember correctly, my previous car, Integra, had the same setup since it is also a projector beam headlight.

I think Roger is aware that the drivers side will be lower. The question is when you drive can you see a distinct lower line on the left. In my case I do. Of course its got to be fairly dark to see it, but its definately there.

That explains it...I thought it wasn't set up right.
I see that the left one is lower, but what is this distinct line you speak of? I know there's a "stair-step" from the right to the left, but I don't really understand what you mean by a distinct line.
Do you mean both lights dont' "blend" in together?

I am aware of the "stair step" from right to left (higher to lower, in three intervals) to not blind oncoming traffic. But my left HID clearly is pointed at the ground where the right one is still stock. I recently hit a deer and the left HID was completely smashed, and replaced with a new unit. The new unit is obviously not properly aligned, so I was asking if anyone knew where the adjustments were (i.e. left to right, up and down). I will look harder when i go home tonight. I will have the dealer fix it if nessecary, but i was hoping this is a do-it-yourself job.
thanks for the replies.
