buying a TSX soon

Hi all.

I was previously going to purchase the RSX, but then started to get obsessed with the TSX. Also was looking at the TL, i don't like the rear of the car otherwise i would of liked going with the TL.. anyway, leaves me with the TSX

I plan to buy the 2006 TSX (they're not available yet where i live). does anyone know if the 06 model will have the type-S performance upgrade?

basically i want it fully loaded, body kit, spoiler, navi, 17" High Performance silver alloy rims, etc..

i do not plan to finance the car (most likely cash).

how much should i plan on spending? I don't want to get ripped off since i don't really know a lot about the pricing.

thanks for any tips/suggestions.

um...usually most people will tell you to get the TL if you have the cash, but 06's don't have stype, only RSX supports that line now. comes out the end of nov/beg of december. OEM rims cost around 1k, body kit is around 900 if you buy it online but like 1300 oem, navi is an extra 1500-2000, the tsx already comes fully loaded...Im saying for 06 with navi and rims and body kit...look to spend

29500 for Navi TSX
1000 for OEM Rims (You might as well get an Aspec package that comes with body kit/spoiler/rims/and better suspension)
1300 for Body kit
600 for spoiler
TTYl 3k
35 OTD?

I agree,......might as well get an A-spec pkg and call it a day.

yeah, i probably will get the A-spec upgrade (was told around ~5k).

as for the TL.. i don't really like the rear.. especially the brake lights.
for some reason the long-narrow lights on the TSX/RSX grew on me.

if the TL would have rear similar to the RSX/TSX i'd would of bought it.. maybe i'm just picky.

wow i reallly liked the TL lights, guess different tastes....LED lights are just memorizing sometimes. But we all have our preferences.

If you have the cash, I would say get a TL, how often are you going to see the rear tailights while your driving? On the other hand, if you get that TSX, you will see quite a few TL's from the rear.

i got my '06 tsx fully loaded on July 1st, 2006

it's 06 model with 5 speed-auto, Nav + A-spec underbody kit (without spoiler)

i am pretty sure you won't go with the spoiler either (many ppl go with the aftermarket lip spoiler), it's $1448 package (installation included)

you can bring down the car (with Nav model) down to around 27600 (reasonable price) and add the 1448 a-spec package.

a-spec wheels and suspension would cost a little more

i financed the car also, they now have 3 yr financing (2.9% APR) which is great

u can also go for 5 or 6 yr financing ,which has first 3 years of 2.9% APR and 4.9% the rest of the payment.

anyway, EVERYTHING with a-spec options (body kit, suspension, wheels) with car tax, documentation fee, tire tax, registration, temporary license, the total should be around 32,000~33,000
