Burglar Alarm for your TSX

Does anyone have an burglar alarm on their TSX? I asked the dealer about it and they don't have a factory burglar alarm and I would like to get one.

also, if i were to get a burglar alarm, would I have to use the alarm remote and the factory keyless entry remote?

anyone recommend a good alarm system?

Thanks in advance

Do you mean the dealer told you the TSX didn't come with a factory security system?

no that not what he said....I'm talking about like car alarm, with horns, etc...I know it comes with factory security system already.....but I'm talking about burglar alarm system, like when somebody bumps my car and the alarm will go off!

Then all you have to do is to add a motion sensor to the existing system. Just interface it with one of the door switches. I'm sure any car stereo/auto security installers can do it easily.

Since we're on the subject, does anyone know of any good add-in remote start systems that would work with a factory keyless/security? I'd like the remote start capability, but don't want to have to install a full aftermarket alarm system to get it.

Would the car even start w/o the chip embedded key or would that whole system be bypassed?

It requires the chip from one of the keys. I know they sell kits to get around this problem by hiding a key near the receiver.
