I just love pwp w/ ebony interior, great combo. Remove the front license plate bracket and see if the dealership drilled a hole on the bumper. I just hate when the dealer ruins the bumper like that.

don't they have to drill a hole for the bracket to be there?

anyways i want to get that m3 lip spoiler on ebay by xenonspecialist. it says for models 04-06. there should be no problem with me having that for the 07 correct?

It should work fine with the M3 lip spoiler since there's no difference in shape between 06 and 07..

it looks like it's attached how it should be. there should be 2 bolts underneath holding the bracket on.

The bracket is held underneath the front bumper by two arms bolted to the bumper. However, it's designed so that the dealer can drill a hole and add another screw behind the front plate to make it more secure. This obviously leaves a hole in plain view if you ever want to remove your front plate.

Also, the license plate bracket tends to rub against the front bumper, causing the paint to rub off. You might want to put something behind the bracket, or relocate the front plate.

Another fellow PWP! Congrats! I wished I was able to hold off buying until now, but TSX was just too sexy for me to abstain. Man, you guys are getting great deals!

Yes it seems like everyone is getting some good deals, except for people around the jersey region. I thought they lowered prices when they are going to get 2008's!!!

haha thanks guys. i just got back from my vacation. i ordered the trunk lip from xenonspecialist on ebay and am waiting for it now. anyways i still need to bring the car back to the dealership to get my OEM body kit installed. anyways i plan on debadging the car tomorrow. i also want to purchase those LED lights for the trunk and interior. where is a good place to get these interior lights. i want blue ones for the doors and white ones for the inside and trunk. theres so many threads out there as of which to buy from. some say that if you turn them off they still stay on. i want to know which ones are ones that will fit my 2007. please let me know which part # and which site to buy them from. i want the ones that won't stay on after i turn them off. thanks a lot and im excited to drive my car!!!!

Pricing

Looks like the deal you got was substantially below the advertised "invoice" price. Could you elaborate here. I am wanting to buy a 2007 TSX non nav automatic new but am having such a tough time knowing what is the best price i should be paying. This is in the Seattle area. Hope that doesn't have a big impact in the pricing. Help me here fellow TSX folks!

well basically what you want to do is not walk into a dealership. what i did was email all the dealerships in my area and gave them an out the door price of which iam willing to pay. some dealerships ignore you some say they can't and some will be able to. thats how i got mine. good luck with yours. im not sure whats a good price for a non navi but i believe its $2000 less than a navi. nowadays the 2008's are rolling in so getting a good deal on an 07 should be a piece of cake.

congratulations- after I picked up my 06 MR/eb 6spd/w nav in Nov. 06 I left it in my garage for almost 2 months while I was away. I made up for it when i arrived home-the car now has 17,000+ miles. Love it.

Dealers

Which dealer(s) do you guys recommend in the North/Central Jersey area? I only hear about Acura of Ocean, but it's kind of far. I am looking for a 2007 TSX with navigation. There is a dealer very close to me, but the lot is small, and I heard going to a smaller lot is not a good move.

What and who do you recommend? I also have an '02 Altima I want to trade in.

Jersey Dealers:
Park Ave Acura
DCH Montclair Acura
Acura of Ramsey
Precision Acura of Princeton (I go here)
Bridgewater Acura (live 10 mins from here but won't go back)
Clinton Acura
Elite Acura (Cherry Hill area, I think)

There are probably others, but those are the ones I know. I got my TSX at Ocean, but that's too far from me now, so I go to Precision.

I'd email all the dealers and tell them what you want to pay. See if any of 'em bite. I just checked Precision's site and they have a bunch of '08s in already, if you're interested in those. Otherwise, there are still lots of '07s around, and 2 '06s on Bridgewater's site still.
