Thumbs down booo snow......................

more than snow...boooo to women who drives!

following horror:

i was turning at around 5mph since it was snowing/sleeting, and this moronic ape looking woman with a volvo was flooring her car so it could pick up speed on a hill. then unfortunately....she crashes into the left side of my tsx.

the plastic popped out from where the fog lights are supposed to be, but something cracked inside, what the hell is that? someone tell me it's nothing important....

I think you underscore a good point - the single biggest factor in whether you're in an accident or not isn't snow tires, FWD, AWD, or even good driving - it's the other idiots on the road!

Sorry to hear of your plight.

damn dude! I feel your pain. Thats exactly why im so hesitant to take my car out in this snow! It doesnt look too bad though. Seems like the plastic and fiberglass took the most damage and my guess is the resonator is what cracked. Dont worry... its not too bad.

i swear, either women need to stop driving or just stay off the damn road and cook. sorry for the generalization but...UGH.

It quiets the engine intake noise. Even if it's cracked, it not a major problem for drivability.

I'm feelin' your Carbon Grey pain too

But careful with those generalizations, or karma will send more bad drivers your way, and this time they'll be driving Lincoln Navigators

Im so sorry to hear about your little "run in" I agree, learn how to drive or stay off the damn road. But kinda off the point, how does the TSX perform in snow without snow tires? I live in wisconsin and at sometimes we get our fair share of snow.

well on the ride home today mine performed pretty well on the stockies. however getting up my driveway was an adventure it kept sliding or not going anywhere the VSA was going loco. Im like wtf!!!! even my 2000 civic was better i was thinking until after 10 minutes of struggling on that incline i finally though of turning the VSA off and bamm i went right up with minimal slipping.
Wierd VSA story was i doing something wrong???

AKay, you weren't doing anything wrong. The situation you describe is expected behaviour for the VSA system. That's one of the situations where turning it off is the right thing to do. Sometimes you need that wheel slip just to keep things moving.

I suppose it would be cool if the system could detect the difference between a bit of understeering on a corner at speed and someone sliding all over the place but going nowhere and just turn itself off for a while.

Damn that sucks I hate SNOW and I hate STUPID PEOPLE. That's exactly why my TSX is going to stay in the garage when there is any snow on the ground.

I was playing around with the VSA today and I was impressed. Granted, it kept me from having more fun that I was, but it definitely kept the car on track when I was fooling around in the parking lot. Tomorrow I'll take the car out and turn it off for awhile

tsx in snow? not bad. very similar to the 2002 3.2 tl, it has its fair share of problems. but then again, every car does.

Yeah I agree. Not only is the post misogynistic, but it's also ageist. A 35-year old woman seems pretty young to me.

Glad your okay....sorry about your TSX.:'(

This is why I will keep my TSX in the garage and drive either my CR-V or Accord when it snows. I don't like idiot drivers who think driving in the snow is like driving on a sunny day.
