Bodyshop Needed in OC
Well the other day I was backing out at the gas station and hit one of the pole there. Can someone recommend me a good bodyshop. It got dent in at the rear fender and some major scratches. Anyone know how much this will cost me?

For you to recommend Tustin Acura's recommended body shop means you have good relations with them?

ask for Daryl, hes the one in charge.
but the price is not cheap. you get what you pay for.
and dont go to dealer's shop.

Hey since I don't want to make another thread, how is service at Tustin Acura? I hate South Coast Acura cause they always seem to brush me off and their receptionists are lousy, fat, and unknowledgeable.

On a side note, I've had good experience with a AAA approved body shop. The shop so happened to be at a Chevy dealership, which did great work on my now departed 4-runner and my friend's Si.

It was just a idea to call Tustin to see who'd they recommend, but I have no clue how the service is with them. Last time I was at the Tustin dealer was when the TSX first came out.

theres a collision center in the same plaza as tustin acura, right next to lincoln/mercury. pricey. 6.5/10 rating.
i give the oc bumper 8/10, its quality, but a bit high on price.

you might wanna find one of those specialty bumper repair shops as they should be cheaper. body shops usually just make you replace the whole part. I actually had a minor accident where my whole front bumper's paint was ripped off and a part of the bumper was torn. The body shops quoted me like 1400 or something to replace the bumper, but I got it fixed for 400 at one of those bumper repair places. They did good work though and had a lifetime warranty on it. the one I go to is in san diego though =/

Sorry for off topic too. Since were talking about repair jobs, where do you guys get your car serviced for maintenance? Acura of Cerritos, Acura of Tustin, or anywhere else? I want to find a trustworthy and hopefully less expensive shop for my Acura TSX.

Although I've done much of the typical maintenance at home, when I had something major go out (like A/C system failure), I took mine to Riverside (closest dealer at the time). When my HVAC lights went out (warranty issue), took it to where I bought the car which was Weir Canyon. It really depends on the SA. I've had kind and courteous SA's at both locations, and then not so nice SA's. What's nice about having repairs done at the dealer is they have 12months/12,000mile warranty on the work.

You could very easily get rust soon regardless of how 'anti-rust' our cars are supposed to be. I'd get it fixed quickly... not just touch up paint.
my dad backed into my friend's car with his RSX in the summer of 07. By summer 08, it had noticeable rust forming. And the damage on his car wasn't that much worse at all than the picture you posted.
