Big Dent on my car..Any help?

So I get out of my car today after work and i notice one big dent on the front right fender. I check it out and its deep with no scratches whatsoever. Looks like someone punched it or leaned on it. Punks these days..I was so pissed. The first dent/scratch is always the one that hurts the most...
I took it to a body shop and they told me it was gonna be $550 to cover it and paint it. They said the pearl white was the hardest because it was three stage. Not only would i pay for that but i need to rent a car to get to work since its gonna be 4 days to repair that.
I wanna know if anyone of you guys had this problem before and how did it come out? Im worried the paint isn't gonna match and its gonna look off. Arent there any dent removers or something? Any suggestions? Anything i should do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

what's your comprehensive deductible?

if the car is pretty new and the body shop is good the paint can match really well -- if it doesn't, make them redo. your only other option is not to fix it.

PWP matching is a b*tch. usually a shop needs to blend the bumper, door and hood to redo a fender

I might go ahead and try the dent doctor out and hope they do a good job.
I dont wanna spend 700 bucks just to fix a dent with the bodyshop. Thats alot of money just for a damn dent..
Thanks for the links and yes PWP is a Bitch! Never again will i buy a white car!!!

Just go to Harbor Freight and get a suction cup and just pop the metal back out.

It depends on the type of dent. It works most of the time.

My cousin owns a body shop here and she said the same -- esp on metallic pearl paint, if you have to paint a large body panel you have to paint a lot of the adjoining panels in order to make everything blend. It has to be that gradual. She drives an MDX and in order to repair a crease in the rear quarter she's repainting the whole side of the car.

Look into paintless dent removal, as others have suggested, if it isn't creased.

Paintless dent removal FTW. I had dents in my left fender left from the mechanics pressing against them. One was even on the crease that runs along the fender. PDR pushed them back out from underneath and all was good. Remember to check your wheelwell liner after their work because excessive bending can crack the liner plastic around the fixed plastic rivet.
