He said he wanted Sporty, AWD or FWD, good handling and performance and reliablility. There are a LOT of cars that fit in his criteria. Since the TSX is a sedan, I'll name some. G35, M5, C32 AMG, S430, any E class benz, Lexus GS400, etc. These are all "better" than the TSX.
I personally like many of the cars you suggest, but almost ALL of them are RWD which hardly meets the AWD or FWD requirement you mention yourself. Doh!

....and the rest of them miss the mark on reliability.

Have we answered your doubts, STC???

So I guess he did read my post, he just disagrees with the criteria -- in fact he disagrees with them so much, his brain just rejects them as though they were an incompatible organ.

P.S. Thanks for the assist, chris!

Actually, I remember Larch saying (during the first discussion) that the reason he chose $80k as the limit was because of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4. Perhaps that's what he'd get for infinite money..... eh, Larch?

Ya but thats RWD. Then again...you arent going to find any FWD cars above 80k anyways. A few AWDs though, but your choices are going to be very limited.

Carrera 4 = AWD. The "garden variety" 911 doesn't cost 80 thousand bucks.

What a memory!

Yes, I did say that, but it was a joke. You give me way too much credit -- I had no idea about the car. I certainly didn't know at the time that there were AWD Porsches, and I didn't even really know about Porsches, period. They're not the kind of car that I think about.

What happened was: Jason proposed the Carrera 4, and I was like,
Except, Jason had done me the favor of admitting that the price would be just over $80K, so I just seized on an easy wise-guy answer:

"Why do you think I said $80K?"

Pretty neat, eh?

And Jason had no choice but to give me a couple of these:

A good time was had by all.

But I was just kidding.
