Cool, when did you purchase your car?
I got a tub of butter cookies from Metro Honda of Ferndale a few years ago when I bought my 5th Gen Prelude. However, it's been about 3 weeks since I got my TSX, and my dealer hasn't shown me any love yet.

It's a chrome finish pen that you can supposedly use for writing as well underwater as in space.

But let me tell you, for a high-tech pen, it's pretty ironic that it still shits big smudges of ink just like any regular bic. And that's not saying that every morning when I write down my mileage before hitting the road, I have to squibble it a little bit to get it going, or the pen won't write. Plus, it won't even write when the temperatures drop below freezing. Now what kind of a space pen is that!

Oh, is that it? I thought it was a Type R pen. As long as it isn't a Type R pen, I don't feel too bad anymore.

Yeah, the black/silver pen is all I got. The finance manager had one of the space pens & I tried to talk him out of it...needless to say, I am still without the space pen.

I didn't get jack! Not even a friggin' pen! What the hell?!
Maybe it's cause I talked them down so low. I should call Keyes in Van Nuys and tell them Santa Monica is sending out goodies.
I've had my car almost 2 months, too!

I'm so upset.

Funny part about the 'free pen' is that there was a batch of them that really sucked so people were actually being sent replacement pens from Acura.

Well that is more than I got from my dealership. in Atlanta All I got was a service discount book. But I really can't complain. They threw in the trunk tray, splash guards, and wheel locks at no charge.

Well I sure as hell didn't get a re-call on my crappy pen. I'm thinking of filing a pusuit under the lemon law.

Did you take it in to the dealer? Before you can demand a new one they have to try to fix it like 3 times or something.

I didn't get jack... I think they were only happy for the sale. After sale treatment sucks big time. I think I would have paid a lil more for my TSX if the after sale treatment was nicer.

If you could have chosen the $100 basket of goodies or an additional $100 off MSRP, which would *you* have chosen? Personally, I wouldn't want my dealership wasting money on that kind of thing. It's more overhead for them, which ultimately translates into higher prices.
