aux input from '06 in '04

does anyone think we may be able to buy a part for the aux in the 06 tsx to use in 04/05 MY?? Im contemplating an icelink for the ipod but at $300 it isnt cheap. If the honda part is easily mountable I think I would prefer that. Then again knowing honda, it'll also be $300

any suggestions?

It's just an AUX in so you might as well just get the SNHOND3.

Why wait for the 06 model, when you can buy the part right away. If it's a Honda part, it will definitely cost more than an aftermarket part would. No one ever sees the actual AUX adapter anyway. You have to run rcas or an rca to headphone plug from the AUX to where you have your device installed.

What makes you think the HU firmware will support it? It won't emulate the CD-C like the SHOND and the Icelink and the Blitzsafe. It will have its own bus address and associated GUI, and I'm sure the 2004 HU (which I have) would puke when it saw this - just like I'm sure it would if it saw 2005 XM...
