Arm Rest, Shifter Question

Is it just me with my Gorilla arms, or does the arm rest kinda get in the way of shifting the slick stick? I haven't read of anyone but me having this small concern. It's easier to shift with the darn arm rest folded up, but for pride of ownership, there's no damn way I'm leaving it up there, and yes I have the arm rest pushed to the rear of the car? Thanks to all for your input. See Ya.

I have it down and slid forward 100% of the time. Shifting is just a flick of the wrist away.

I think it's cuz of your gorilla arms. Can we see a jpeg of your arms, and then we will know for sure.

I've never shifted. Is that what that's for?
