Anyone ever push start their 6 speed?

I've done it several times in my older cars with success but never had to on the TSX yet (knock on wood).

But I was wondering with all the electronics and computers inside, is it doable and safe to do?

Has anyone done it with a TSX?

Never tried it, but you should be able to as long as the key is in the ignition on position and the battery has enough oomph to power the electronics - probably 20 amps at at least 10 volts. If the battery is dead you're probably out of luck.

I've done it before. DBW means that the throttle is computer-controlled, not the clutch. Thus, the wheels can spin the transmission, which then can spin the engine and start it.

You can indeed do it just like the old cars you're used to. I've found that you gotta push it a little faster, but it works. IIRC, it's easier in reverse than in first.
