Another intake in the market!!!

I have been lurking around this company for a while cuz they make the sickest intake ever!!! The name of the company is Gruppe-M. This company is born in Europe and it's been making intake with carbon fibre, carbon kevlar for a while. Anyway, i surfed the web around and found out that they'll have apllication for TSX(since it's Euro-R in Jap). The price has yet to be set.
I don't have any clues about gains of dyno graph but they have the coolest design, which made from the best material!!! Although the price has yet to be confirmed but i would expect the price to be around $700 for the system.

Check out the application for the RSX. Interesting approach to picking up air form the high pressure area under the windshield - but what about the possibility of picking up water also? And that price whoaa!

OUCH!!! $700 for what looks like a short cai? Actually, I just went to that site and they have a price of $0 and shipping cost of $35. So I guess it is free if you pay for the shipping? I guess it would be worth that. lol The call it a ram air charger, but I don't see it from the pics.

Well, from what i see in person the system has another tube that goes down and sucks cold air from where the air box current location (the black box behind front bumper in the driver's side) if you click for X5 application you'll see how it works.

thats defintely an interesting intake, i'd like to see some dynos.

i went and looked at the various applications for vehicals and it seems to vary quite a bit. some look like they suck the air from below the windshield, others fit right up front under the hood latch. then others are more traditional and suck from the front, near the wheel well

tsx/euro-accord model looks like it goes in the spot where our current resonator is. if i'm right the filter would sit up pretty high, more or less where the oem one is.

tempting...

The only problem with dyno'ing these is that they won't show true gains from the ram air effect. With these you need to cram air in at 80 mph to get both the volume and velocity up.

Yeah, it would be difficult to dyno

Here is the ram charger/intake that they make for the rsx, I'm guessing our application would be very similar.

http://www.gruppemna.com/products_order.php?prod_id=58

They have some pic's of a dyno test there, with a huge fan. Not sure if that would really be accurate

The rsx's intake opening is right under the window. Hopefully once the tsx/euro accord one is done they will post some install pic's so we can see where the thing fits.

Of course at 799$... ouch. Definitely cool though
