Aggrevated

Well, I was quoted Dec 1 Pick up of my TSX, and my dealer hasnt gotten it in yet. I am extremely aggrevated. They told me it would arrive by the 29th the latest, and I would most likely get it the 30th or 1st. I am not a happy camper. Just thought Id vent my frustrations and see if anyone else has had this problem with the 2005 TSX.

what was the price quote they gave you? Did you sign papers yet? If not, go to another dealer and see if you can get one sooner from them.

Well my TSX has arrived, I am picking it up on Saturday in Quebec hopefully. My family bought a 2005 MDX and a TSX from this dealer. The dealership requested a 250$ admin charge on each vehicle!! I talked them down to 1 "cash grab admin fee", to include both vehicles. Now they have made the excuse that since I have a trade in they want another 250$ admin fee!! I’m so pissed that after all the business that we have given them they want to ruin it over 250$...ill let you all know how things go...just venting also..

Sometimes the shipments are delayed due to weather and all sorts of other issues. The dealer has very little control. In some cases, even Honda North America has no control.

My experience with dealers lately is that "customer loyalty" is just some marketing scheme. Most, if not all sales reps, will act like your best buddy until you decide you want to save some money.

I will never buy from Acura of Peabody (They dont want to sell cars). I purchased from Acura of Boston. I spoke to my sales rep again. The delay was due to the holiday week, and they are expecting it any day. IM SO IMPATIENT.

VENT THREAD!

That is correct, but they will still quote you an earlier date than they know it's gonna arrive.

Hey JLavino,

I ordered my 2005 5AT ABP on October 2nd, 2004. I was told end of October or early November. It arrived November 24th, 2004. I picked it up on the 30th! I was told I was the first to get the ABP in that particular dealership. The next one coming through their doors is in 7-weeks.

I think they look at your purchase arrangement to determine priority. I paid everything up-front. They think I'm a baller, so they gave it to me first. (Bank of Mom and Dad can give you mad respect)

But don't worry, big guy, the ABP is worth the wait!

JLavino, it sounds like the dealer pulled your chain a little when you ordered. They're computer can tell then what cars they have on order, even for other dealerships. They should know when it's being shipped. Did they give you a VIN?

As far I know, the first shipment for eastern Massachusetts was dropped in Westboro a few days ago, and the only delay is waiting for the trucks to get them to the different dealerships. Mine just arrived, will be picking up this weekend.

A Tad, because my sales rep said I could pick it up the same night it came in if it came in in the morning. So I call around noon today. My sales rep day off (DIDNT TELL ME). I spoke with a manager, and it got put in for service tommorow. I asked the manager to push it up a tad so i can get it in the morning. I will be in my 2005 in AM. WOO HOO. Aggrevation is subsiding however.
