hey guys,

the other night i woke up with my 2 way pager going off at 2AM causing me to run out of bed with my boxers outside to check on my car. This obviously got me paranoid.

Its turns out they walked by my car and smacked the mirror causing the alarm to sound. I have a python 872 with 2 way pager. When my alarm sounds both my stock horn and siren go off at the same time.

I am looking to upgrade to maybe a airhorn and louder horn just to make more noise and scare away intruders.

what do you guys think, is this louder than the stock horn? Should I just upgrade to air horns? or maybe a police siren or something like that?? any opinions??

should do that one in the video or hella horns.
dont do airhorns or sirens...thats pointless.

Hmm, this is actually very interesting. But what if you need to use the horn to honk at someone on the road? I just don't wanna be that obnoxious guy honking on the road with a loud ass horn.

I have a Viper alarm too and this would be a very nice addition to it.

YEA BUT ARE THESE PIAA'S LOUDER THAN THE STOCK HORNS?

mdK, when i honk my horn only the car horns sound but when my alarm goes off both the stock horns and the siren with back up battery built in will sound!!

Now that I think about it, I actually think that our stock horn is pretty loud.

My stock horn also goes off with the siren when my alarm goes off. I actually like that cause it adds a lot more sound to scare any intruders and I think the horn is louder than the siren.

Thats funny that you want to install that in your car. About a couple months ago i bought a train horn stage 2 for my car.. After waiting for in to come in i go to install it and it turns out the horns were way to big to put any where in the car.. If you can get that to install with out a problem them more power to you. good luck cant wait to see when its done!
