acura.com blooper ?

Never mind if this is repost

Are we all aware that on acura.com's TSX gallery(Flash), on the moonroof it says

"the power moonroof can be open or shut with one tap of the overhead controls"

gallery
> doors > moonroof open/close > magnify glass icon > auto open/close

Last Rant of the week : I sure don't got no overhead control for monroof !

It's the same exact sound byte that's used for the TL interactive showroom. Yes, I think they just didn't think to record one for the TSX's.

They've had FAR FAR worse bloopers. Like for 2003, they bragged about the MDX's new and improved FOUR speed automatic transmission

I sent an e-mail (and I'm sure others did) and it was fixed by the next day.

They've also gotten various features mixed up as well as engines.

See...this is the problem when you hire non-car enthusiast people to do a website. They don't know squat about the cars and get stuff wrong. If they were really smart, they'd hire someone who was a fanboy with web design skills and have him put together the site. Then you wouldn't keep running into these errors.

I don't mind putting up with bloopers here and there. I like the presentation given by whoever designs Acura's site. The style and flow of everything just says "Acura"...know what I mean? It exudes subtle sophistication

I checked out all of Acura's competitor's sites, and Acura's is far and away the best. I think they understand that some people want to tinker with everything on the car from the comfort of their own home. As good as their site is, though, it doesn't compare to the actual experience...my TSX is SO much more enjoyable than I ever thought it would be.

Oh, I agree that it has style an class, but they need someone who knows their cars to go through and get rid of these bloopers before they happen. Looks bad for a manufacturer when their website doesn't even know what its talking about.

Ain't no geeks fault....It's all about precise specs & QA

BTW f**king Mazda site gives me a bloody headache with all those swirling crap.
Acura site is like the car....Reserved & sophisticated & no over-kills & nothing LOUD

I Agree! I just took delivery of mine this AM, and was told by my wife that I couldn't "go out and play" until the lawn was mowed...I don't think our tractor ever went so fast in it's life! An acre done in less than 40 minutes. Sure it's scalped in spots...but hey! I just got my TSX!

I read and re-read the glossies for the car every night until today, salivating at the thought of driving it. Now that i've driven it, I threw the glossies away because they couldn't even COME CLOSE to the experience...through the ROOF!

Black on black TSX auto w/nav, BEST DECISION EVER!

PS- Re-reading my post, I realize there's an obvious solution to my needing to mow the lawn as compared to my desire to drive my car...anyone know how to mount a mower deck to the TSX? I'll blow that 40 minute record clear outta the water...

Perhaps a slipup on releasing the 05 specs?
