Beat me to it, ya bastard.

I'm going TSX shoppin' this weekend, starting tommorow afternoon. Hoping to close the deal by Saturday.

Junkster, who thinks 'black on black' sounds good.

edit: no navi for me, thanks.

Right back at ya'.

When are you expecting yours to come in?
I put a deposit down once, for my Integra, and I had a horrid experience, so I'm thinking about taking something off the lot. I have three dealers near where I live, and they together total to about 20 TSX's with no navi for me.

Black on black... hard to clean, but now you got me thinking about it. My main choice is the CG/black/nonnav (I know, it's cliche in this forum), but black on black, or silver on black also sounds good.

Junkster, whose seen two CG TSXs in Denver.

There are a couple of dealerships not to far from my area that confirmed for me that they've got my car in stock...so my dealership is trying to do a trade with them. The dealership I ordered the car from has one of the best customer service ratings in the country so that's why I decided to stick with them rather than buy it right at one of the other dealerships...they also offer free pick-up an delivery and will, as long as you have your car serviced from them, cover your engine and powertrain for the life of the car. So I'm taking a chance that the dealer trade will go through...or else I may be waiting a while.

Yeah, as far as black on black goes...once I saw that combination in person..I was hooked. Hooked I tell ya!

7or8:

Is there a website that tells you the different customer ratings for the different Acura dealerships in the country? How did you find out what your dealer's customer rating was?

Also, what do you mean that they will "cover your engine and powertrain for the life of the car"? Are you saying that they are giving you an extended warranty till 100,000 miles (instead of the factory one lasting for 50,000 miles)? Does life of car mean even higher mileage like 150 or 200K ?

On another note, Black looks so sharp on the TSX. I regularly thought the tail part of the TSX is the weakest visual part of the car. Well today I saw my first blact TSX during the day. The back of it looked SHARP!!!

They're listed as a Precision Dealer on acura's website. Here's a link to Acura's list of precision dealers http://www.acura.com/locate/locate_prteam.asp

..the other two dealers that are the closest to me aren't listed as Precision Dealers. The nearest other dealer that is listed there is 40 miles away. As far as them being one of the best on that list...I'll have to take their word for it. They seemed very proud of it. The dealership is Acura of Newport in case you're wondering.

As far as the engine goes....as long as I personally own the car, even if it's at 7yrs and 160,000 miles, they will replace the engine if it breaks (providing of course it didn't break due to pure stupidity). They even cover ALL the labor cost involved. According to them they're the only dealer that does this in the area. They don't charge extra for it either, you get it just for buying the car from them. This is all dependent on you taking the car to them for service. Their service prices seemed pretty reasonable. I'm going to find out next time I talk to them if this means I have to get ALL my service from them (i.e. brakes and stuff).

..I forget the exact specifics about the powertrain so I'll post back here after I talk them again.

About the back of the car looking great in black..that's exactly what sold me on the black too!

Damn it, no Colorado dealers!!!

Figures, Pikes Peak was all crap, and all the other dealerships haven't responded to my price quote for three days.

Ugh, what I wouldn't give for a Precision dealer in Colorado...

Junkster, who never saw that list before.

I noticed a discrepency with the list though. When you go to the dealer search page http://www.acura.com/locate/locate_index.asp not every dealer that shows up on the Precision Team page shows up as being a Precision Team member on the dealer locate list. For instance there are two dealers close to me.. on the Precision Team page they both show up, but on the dealer locate page only one of them has the precision team logo next to their dealer listing. Hmmm I wonder which page is the more current one.

The 200 or so current members of this site who ALREADY OWN TSX"S and have been driving them for nearly a year

I think you may have the highest post count of any non-owner on this site. Thats quite the accomplishment

Congrats, its about time

I can't believe you waited even longer than me to get a TSX. It seemed like the longest year of my life.

Congradulations!
