yea its a company car. money is no issue. just look at the Alpine cars lol..
From reading the article, they chose the TSX as their project car over all the other cars such as EVO's, WRX's, 350Z's, etc. because they wanted to bring Honda/Acura back into the limelight.

wait, it has 2 different sets of wheels? that's gotta be great for balance, but at least it answers the question that those racing harts to in fact fit.
has tanabe coilovers? where did those come from?

well 350 HP might be good for drag racing but if it was on a track (turns and hairpins) it would be a diffrent story on the track its about useable power and getting the power down to the wheels without wheel spin... this is coming from a motorcycle guy i don't know if the same theory applies to cars... so maybe someone can shed some light if i'm wrong

xizor: yea they used a different set of rims on each side to show off the new RACINGHART PRO series line of rims they just came out with. Since there is only 2 rim styles in the lineup, it worked out for them heh..

I love it, it makes me miss my car. I'd love to see that thing in action. 350HP, it definetly needs an LSD. I would also like to know what are they using to tune the car and how much boost are they running and what's the maximun amount of boost it can run. I know there not using the stock ECU?

No way the motor is going to hold up under the boost required to get 350 hp out of it in the long term without major changes (like lowering the compression ratio).
Once you add enough boost to exceed the NA output by 50% (e.g. 300 hp in this case), major changes are required. A better plan would be more conservative boost. For example, 0.6 (8-9 PSI) bar would be could for 250hp or so. Even 0.8 bar (12 PSI) is probably acceptable, which would push you up near 300 hp.
They're pushing at least 1.1-1.2 bar to get those numbers...

Don't worry I'm sure a turbo is in the works for the V6 too.

How are they tuning the damn thing? Tell me that? What'd they do come out with there own programmable ECU? The thing wont get the most of it's power with the stock engine management. You try running a Stage 4 on a WRX without any management, your going to run shit times out at the track.
Hey CMF:
As for the STi, I love it. That thing has so much power and torque, it's crazy. I'm looking to sale my rims and get a catback exhaust. I'm putting on a new down pipe today. I hit 145 yesterday after hitting the 1,000+ mile mark. I wanted to try and hit 155-160, but not enough open straight away. Heh, that's when I wish I were down in the lower 48.
l8ers
Wes,
Although I own an STi now, I still love the TSX and I hope to see some Superchargers and turbo chargers with me. This 350HP TSX really got me interested. Also I love these forums and I still come here regularly.

Quote...The Turbocharger itself is an HKS GT2835 Pro S ball-bearing unit, which was paired with and HKS S-Type front-mount intercooler and HKS Super Sequential blow-off valve for maximum operating efficiency. Fuel enrichment is effected by an upgraded HKS in-tank fuel pump, HKS fuel pressure regulator, a custom rail, and 600cc injectors, and controlled by the F-CON V Pro Engine Managment unit. Boost is controlled by HKS's EVC boost controller. Custom Downpipe,Turbo Manifold, dual High power exhaust (HKS)
