36 MPG Highway
I think the highest I've ever reached was 38.9.
It dropped .3 points after driving through some city traffic but it was inconvenient to get a photo at that time.

5000 miles, and LOST a bit of oil twice!
currently im at 5,200 miles.
at 2,300 and 5,000 miles i noticed that oil had gone down b/c on the dipstick, the top hole didnt have oil in it, so i poured some more in (way way less than a quart).
isnt this car supposed to be losing no oil? is it just because breaking in?

The best I've ever gotten was 37MPG coming from Memphis, TN to Knoxville, TN which included some hill climbs. That was after my K&N panel filter was installed. The best before the filter was around 34MPG.

I usually get 30-33 mpg at 80 mph and 32-35 mpg at 70 mph. My highest was 36 mpg at a 70 mph.

I don't know how you guys do it! you must drive 55 mph for the whole tank!!! no can do 55 anywhere. This past weekend I went from SF to near LA down (375 miles) on HWY 5 and got 28 MPG ....and I was happy with that, since my average speed was up to 74 mph at most times (HWY 5 is posted 70MPH).

I do miss the better mileage of my 01 accord coupe MT, but I'll survive!

The TSX has great MPG on the highway, I was able to drive from NYC to Atlantic City and back on half a tank (trip around 250 miles, averaged around 35 MPG). HOWEVER, I only get around 17-19 MPG in the city no matter how I drive.

my 32mpg combined or 400-420 miles on a tank that I consistently see everytime i reset my odo is after taking 100lbs off my car.
i also shift at 2.5k every gear, cruise at 6th gear going 40mph on local streets, never try to go over 3k rpm, stay neutral at all times possible, never use ac or etc only radio, only use moonroof for cooling situation, side windows down i heard creates more drag co.

OEM, you are scaring me. but you forget the sarcasm RED text, so I will do it for you.
I am no racer or unsafe lane zig-zagger (or squid as we say in MCland), but I drive my stock 06 medium-hard. as I hit the rev limiter daily. (not after the temp is midway and oil is pumping through) I just need the VTEC for my one on-ramp commute. So I average around 18mpg in mostly stop and go city traffic. and get about 310+ miles per tank.

Last weekend went on a trip to Cali from Utah in mostly mountainous driving with A/C on half of the time...and 90 degrees outside...with three people and loaded with luggage. The MID stated 36.4 mpg and we did about 502 miles...the actual calculation showed about 35.83...so the MID was pretty accurate. I always average around 33 on the highway because I am not an aggressive driver and leave the car in SS on the highway so that I slow instead of down shift.

driving from Austin to Dallas I drove an average speed of 75 and got 35.5 on the MID. that included the very frequent overtaking of idiotically slow drivers in the left lane too.
but i usually just get about 330-350 miles per tank when im back in dallas because ive got some sort of disease in my right foot that makes it so heavy

I still haven't averaged better than 27mpg doing about 40% city/60% highway.
It drives me crazy with the insane amount of red lights I have to sit at to get to the freeway onramps coming to and leaving work. If I had to guess, I would say I piss away ~4 gallons of every tank sitting at lights and accelerating from lights. When I do take my car on a long freeway ride, I get between 29 and 35mpg. I've realized that my TSX would save me more money on gas if I move further away from work.

Anyhow, Dang, I need a camera that will take pictures that clear.
If I'm driving without the cruise control anywhere between 70-80mph I get around 30mpg
With cruise, I can get around 34MPG around that same speed. Anything above 80 will drop me to 30mpg or below.

averaging 35 is pretty easy if you keep it around 65 and there is no traffic.
i've done the LA to SF drive a few times now, and i generally average a bit over 80 on it. (probably going anywhere from 65-90 most of the way) its about 28-29mpg .
i think the auto supposedly gets like 1-2mpg more than the stick one so that seems pretty good considering i'm speeding the whole way.
