2004 Honda Accord EX-L vs 2004 Acura TSX(Base)?
I am looking at both of these to buy when I get a check in a couple months. I checked the blue book.
2004 Acura TSX (auto) 130,000 miles = $8,300 in good condition.
2004 Honda Accord EX-L (auto) 130,000 = $7,800 in good condition.
$500 difference. Can someone explain to me the differences bwetween these two cars? Pros and Cons? Thank you!

Personal preference mostly.
Acura has more power (200hp vs ~150hp)
They look different, and the Accord is slightly bigger, but not by much. Options will be around the same but I am not sure what the honda EX-L has, but it is a top of the line accord so it should have similar options as the acura. Both nice cars but the TSX is nicer, in my opinion.

because the TSX is far and away a more refined car. Handles better, makes more power and much more torque. The acura in general side by side is a more expensive car anyway. An accord after all is juts an accord.

Well, as you might imagine, you aren't going to find too many people in this forum who will advise you to pick anything over a TSX...even another Honda. My two cents: the TSX is much more fun to drive & has more luxury...well worth the $500 in your case.
My advice is to go to CarAndDriver.com and look up the reviews and comparisons of each car...those guys are better at covering all the details -- (and they get paid for it, unlike us.)
Good luck. You can't go wrong with either car, (assuming they are both in good condition.)

^^^^^ What he said. Nobody here is going to suggest the accord over the TSX. Better engine, better handling, more comfortable, far more aftermarket options if that's your thing.... TSX wins that one by a knockout 10 seconds in the first round.

However, if you only occasionally carry people and/or stuff, I would get the TSX. Much more refined driving experience, and not on every single street corner.

You also have to consider that the '04 TSX have some issues with the dash lights going off, oil burning, loose drivers seat, headlight condensation that the accord does not have.
And as someone else said, the accord backseat has a little more room and should be better if you have a family.

If you're looking at autos, I think you should probably get an Accord. Basically, the TSX is a slightly more compact, more driver-focused, more decked out version of the Accord. If you're looking for a nice commuter that handles well and is a little fun, the Accord is great. The TSX is just more taught, more potent.
