1 day 5AT TSX 06
Dropped off my baby to the dealer and they gave me a Demo 06 5AT (198 miles). Well, well, well...decided to compare the performance.
After driving the car on the highway:
sport shift mode definitely pulls the car forward. I liked the 1st to 2nd to 3rd gear transition . Some point I thought ....feels like the 04 5AT with reflash only. The car wants to pull from the vtec much stronger than the 04 5AT (stock)...hehehehe I redlined 1st, 2nd oops. Dissapointments once I go into 4th and 5th...amazingly all the torque is lost...rpms drop like crazy.
Comparing 5AT to 6M. No wonder ...why people call , "6M the dark side".

Final thoughts:
06 5AT is definitely better than the 04 5AT (stock). Funny thing is..I could feel the vtec kick in @ 6000 rpms. I could only get the vtec on the first 3 gears, good luck on 4th, 5th. I have to say this: THE VTEC KICK POWER RUSH IS NOT THE SAME FEELING AS 6M 06.
