07 TSX body kit

Well .. right now my TSX is plain stock, and i am thinking of adding just the rear skirt. Is there anyone with just the OEM rear skirt installed ? How does it look ? Will it look good ? Or i can go full body if the kit is good.

What other kits are good? advise plz ~

in my opinion, the 06/07 OEM kit doesn't change and enhance the look enough to justify its cost. i can hardly tell that there's a kit on the car, from pictures. even in person i wasn't impressed.

the difference between stock 04/05 and OEM kit 04/05 is definitely a lot more pronounced (and good looking). i wish the 06/07 OEM kit looked like the old one

I've been researching body kits/lips, and I agree...the OEM kit doesn't look different enough from stock.

My 06 looks really nice stock....

i actually do like the front stock ... but just feel the rear needs alittle something. I guess its pointless to go half way. For me if i was to add body kit, i like to keep it simple and clean. Any suggestions then?

agreed. i feel as if the front is missing a 'chin.'

a buddy of mine suggested that i just get the front lip for my 07, add a trunk spoiler (xenon), and keep the side skirts and back stock.

but i kinda want the entire kit. the 07 kit may not be a looker, but at least it'll make the front look more flush.

I found this on google, it was originally posted by " cccoltsicehockey ". is this the one you're talking about? If it is, i like it a lot, but does it fit on the 07?

The only pieces you could eliminate are the A-spec side skirts. I would go for the front and rear spoilers at a minimum. This would be for any kit you decide on, don’t do anything half ass, use the whole ass.

yeah, that looks like the euro-r front lip.

if money weren't an issue, i'd buy the euro-r. but it's just damn pricey.

04-05 JDM Euro R lip will not fit on 2006-2007 Facelifted models.

They have a corresponding 2006-2007 JDM Euro R kit.

This is Adamantiium's car.

When i first got my car i got the rear spoiler which gave it a nice look then I managed to grab the front lip for a good price used.

but everyone kept saying someone stole my sides and rear and it was a bit naked so now i had the side skirts from the same guy and getting his rear soon.

EURO R Kit

But, that's just my opinion..... But if you do, get both front and rear.

is there any cheaper price out there besides boom plus toys?

i think i can get the entire OEM kit for around 800-900. boom plus has the entire euro-r for around 1300 and change.

1295 (heeltoe) vs. 1330 (boomplus).

that's not that much cheaper. and doesn't account for shipping.

Getting it from overseas ain't gonna make it cheap. Either buy it for what it's worth or just buy yourself OEM.

Not sure if there is much of a difference (if any) between the '06 and '07 OEM skirts, but I'm really happy with my full '06 kit. I definitely notice a huge difference when I see a TSX on the road without the kit. I don't care as much for the stock rounded look. I think my TSX looks meaner with the kit on it. That's just my opinion though.

like i said, i really wish that 04/05 kits fit the newer body style, cause both the oem and the euro-r for the 06/07 look way too similar to stock. very subtle changes. i LOVE the 04/05 euro-r. it's so damn hot.

i guess yes, it would be possible, however, it would require me buying an 04 or 05 front bumper PLUS euro-r kit, in order to get the old style on my 06. seems like more cost than it's worth... but you're right. possible

I really like it too but i just can't justify spending that kind of money on it when the 06-07 comes with a little flare already built into it I have thought about buying it in pieces slowly but then it will just look bad and with the kit you can't just buy the front or the back, it jut won't look right. I do however, think you could get away with doing just the front and the back and not the sides but then again, it may look fugly when you get them on....lol

i think you could get away with just buying the front first, and then buying the sides/rear together later.

it's really the front that bothers me the most. i mean, it looks clean and sharp. but it needs just a little more surface area to make it look aggressive.

to me, the front looks unnaturally "stuck on there" as if it wasn't really meant to go on the car. with the 04/05 it was more seamless IMO

For my '05, I put on the front first, and it just didn't look complete without the rest of the kit. However, given that the '06+ has more flare in the sides, it might look OK with just the front. I doubt that doing just the back would look good.
