'06 Navigation + Auto Start Electrical Issues

Hello All-

I'm looking into buying a 2006 TSX w/ Navi + Auto Start. However, I've received conflicting information from dealers regarding adding an automatic starter to the vehicle...

The dealer which is giving me the best price on on Glacier Blue Metallic '06 TSX said that he will not have the dealership install (or rather, have the dealership outsource the installation) an automatic starter to cars with Navigation. Apparently the Nav system would be prone to errors.

I've never heard of this before in the research that I've done....

Can anyone please provide insight on this??

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks!

What "errors" did you hear about? I don't think the navi system is tied to the ignition in any way. The only way they should be tied together is by the electrical system (since both need power).

I'm sure if there was a problem, we'd know about it here. I think the dealer just didn't want you to mess with the electrical system

I have an Clifford Matrix 3.5 with autostart and don't have a single problem with my name. I doubt the nav has changed from the 04 to 06 that would cause any problems.
